With tears in my eyes, sadness in my heart, and trembling in my hands, I write words that have come much too soon. Vince, I miss you and love you with all my heart. I will count my ability to call you my friend as one of the many blessings in my life.
Heartfelt condolensces.

I am in a state of shock at this very sad news. I have worked with Vince at the CAS since he started. Wonderful warm loving person. I am very very sad. I know that he is a in a good place though. blessings !!!
love you my friend .
Vince was the type of person that made everything better, he was always calm, positive, thoughtful, easy to laugh with and fun to be with. He was a person of the highest quality and his soul was that of a true gentleman. Through all the events I was at with him, (at least a dozen) I never once saw him rattled, he was so smart, personable, capable and well liked, and he made running 1000 person conferences look easy. He was also a caring and kind friend and colleague, and so loved among the staff who were lucky enough to work by his side through the years.

My sincerest condolences to his family who he spoke of so often, and his friends who he was always meeting in every city we visited, and everyone who loved him. The world lost a truly special person.

Having seen Vince serve as a professional for many years with the CAS, and then getting to work with him more closely this year, I have a sense of the tremendous loss being felt within the CAS community. As for his family and friends, my condolences to you, as your loss is immeasurable. He will never be forgotten.

I worked with Vince for the last six years on the Reinsurance Seminar, and he was a mentor and friend to me all the way from my days as a totally new CAS volunteer through my time as the chair of the planning committee. I'll miss him dearly; not only getting to work with someone of the utmost professionalism, but also the optimism, warmth, and joy he brought to every day. My thoughts go out to his family in these difficult times.

My heart felt condolences go out to Vince's family and his many, many friends. I had the honor and pleasure of working alongside Vince for the past six years on one of our CAS committees. What a great person he was and will always be. He kept us going straight. If there was a tough situation to deal with, he took care of it. We even dubbed Vince an "actuary" because he knew so much about us and used that knowledge to improve us beyond measure. I can only imagine the stories Vince would tell about us when he went home. And I know it was in a kind and jovial way, because that is who Vince was. I am blessed tremendously in knowing Vince and feel cheated not having more time with him. Vince, we are all going to miss you dearly.
