Uncle Rich was such an amazing uncle. I am so lucky to have known him and had him in my life. I will never ever forget the laughs we shared. Growing up, he always knew how to relate with me and have great conversations with me no matter my age. I absolutely loved spending time with him, at the lake and at all of our family gatherings. I have to admit, I’d always try to find a seat at his table because I knew that is where I’d have the best time. He was truly an amazing guy, with such a big heart. He always let me know how much he cared through both his words and actions. Uncle Rich, I love and miss you more than words can describe. Aunt Dawn, Kenzie, and Ellie: I love you so so much and am always here for you ❤️

I taught the 4 Huff children at Lourdes and have thought of them often as the years have gone by. One of the nicest families around. I was proud to be their teacher. My deepest condolences to the entire Huff family. Chris and David, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

How lucky can a person be to find one of her best besties in 4th grade, a ride or die, her maid of honor, her cousin by marriage? I am so fortunate to have found all of these things in Terri! I met Terri when we were 10, she has been a big part of my life since. When we were Seniors in HS she introduced me to her cousin, he is now my husband, almost 30 years married. Terri's family has been my family for 42 years, her siblings became my siblings, her cousins became my cousins, her mom is my Aunt Mom, dad is Uncle Dad. It's strange and beautiful and a huge blessing.

This last Thursday we lost Terri's younger brother, my cousin by marriage, my brother through friendship. It was sudden, unexpected and devastating. We are all numb, leaning on one another. Next to losing my Momma, this is the most devastating loss we've experienced. One expects to lose the elder family members in their life, it is horrible and life-altering. No one ever expects to lose their siblings/cousins who are in the same generation, who share the same experiences, who have shared every life experience since early childhood. This one hurts, it hurts me, it hurts my husband, my bff, my children, my surrogate parents, cousins, aunts/uncles, extended family, all of our shared friends. There are 14 cousins, we are close...I mean close like siblings. Our children are close like siblings. We trust one another implicitly, we are the village that all talk about in raising children. We love one another. Our hearts are broken right now. Our family needs your prayers, we've lost something that no one will understand unless they have lived our lives. We are incomplete.

To our family, we love you ALL and are here for anyone at anytime. ❤

Jen

Rich was a colleague that truly was not just a guy I worked with. Getting to jump in his office meant discussion of business topic was handled and put away. We were about to get into the important stuff: guitar, woodworking, family.

My thoughts are with his family.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. I will alway cherish the memories I shared with Rich, and I will never forget his laugh. When he laughed, everyone laughed along. (ex-co-worker at Fike, Belgium)
