I send my condolences you, his family, and everyone who’s devastated by this loss. I met Pedro when we were in 6th grade on a school trip to DC and I don’t think I knew then how he would impact my life even after years of loss contact and through adulthood. I’m happy I was lucky enough to have known him and how special he was.

I am devastated by this news. Pedro was a brilliant writer, an insightful student, and a genuine, kind person. I admired him for his honesty and respected his intellectual creativity. In my government classes, I could always rely on Pedro to come up with a new perspective on a topic and steer our discussion toward important social issues. He had a strong presence and made a big impression on me and his fellow students. The world lost a very bright light with Pedro’s passing. He was an extraordinary young man.

Pedro has a happy and passionate soul. I remember first meeting him and thinking he was nice. But talking to him even a few times, to me he quickly changed from some guy who crashed in our mead suite to one of my greatest friends. I remember he was with us so much I heard he hadn’t even really unpacked at cmc lol. I always felt lucky to even go to dinners with the guy cuz he always seemed to be booked up. Probably cuz everybody loves him. Rest in piece Dro. You were an amazing influence on everybody you met. You taught me to live in the moment. We are lucky to have had you and your memory will live on.
Dro was an incredibly kind and caring soul, and we were so lucky to have him be a part our family the time we did. He brought so much happiness and light into the lives of those around him, especially Zaineb's, and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to know him. Rest in peace.
Love you always, thank you for everything 🕊🤍 sleep peacefully my friend.
