Otis!
A wonderful soul and friend, so full of life and love to share ❤️
Otis was energetic and fun to be around, its never a dull moment with him.
It's surreal and heartbreaking that Otis left so soon but am consoled that he lived a great life, although short but fulfilled, as his life impacted lives.
I pray for strength for his entire family at this time and hope that his soul would rest in the Lord, till eternity.
Rest on my friend.

To the beautiful and kind soul Otis,
I’ve always heard about you through mutual friends over the years who spoke very highly of you every chance they got. When I finally met you in person I fully understood why, you are kind, loving, hilarious, caring, the life of the party, supportive, genuine, and an overall beautiful person.
Your passing has really messed me up but I’m forever grateful to have experienced your beautiful soul in this lifetime. My heart is broken but especially broken for your family and our friends. There are a lot of things that only God has the answers to, and this is one of them. I hope you sleep peacefully❣️

I am truly at a loss for words since we were just chatting last week. I met Otis at American University in 2013. We were classmates and we often rode the bus home together. He was my favorite face at the bus stop. From his infectious smile to his curious intellect and just chatting about life, we never had a dull moment. Sending my deepest condolences to the family. Rest in peace, Otis.

Otis was one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met. He was fun to be around and always made me feel welcome. Although our encounters were few I appreciate the few conversations we shared and the inspiration, motivation, and advice he left me with. May the Creator bring peace, understanding, and an abundance of comfort to his family, friends, and everyone that knew him.
