This Man was more than a coach to our Son and to our Family, His geniune care and love was infectious and this excelled JJ to best version of his self not just Physically and Mentally also his humanity, Idris will be never forgotten and his legacy through TSM and stories will live on.

RIP our friend.
Idris...what can you say about a man that did so much for so many. Our deepest condolences to his partner, family, friends and fellow coaches at TSM. We have known Idris for 2 years and he became an important person in my sons life very quickly. He was an inspirational coach, a mentor, a lovely man and a true role model. His tough training was always a highlight of Henry's week and he never, ever, wanted to miss a session. Idris worked the boys & girls hard and gave them such encouragement and confidence. His approach to all those I saw him work with was always about getting the best out of themselves and giving their all. Such an important life lesson. Thank you Idris. We really will miss you.
RIP to Idris, a friendly colleague and fantastic athletics coach. Condolences to all the family. ❤️

Dear Idris, I cannot find the words to express how sad I am feeling.
If I think about you, I think about you with your smile on your face, your kindness, your passion for athletics and dedication to the kids.
You have made a true impact in the kids' lives and made them achieve even bigger things than they thought they would be capable of achieving.

I remember the day you told me athletics could bring you life skills and how discipline in athletics was a great contributor to kids' education. I never forgot that conversation we have five years ago when I got my year group and having that same conversation a few weeks ago now that they are in year 11.

I miss you Idris. Rest in peace brother and keep that beautiful smile.

This is love , not just a picture , was his WhatsApp image , his students !!! HIS LEGACY!!
A staple of Athletics community and a huge influence around the facilities in which he trained. He would always be open for conversation and rain or shine leading the way when it came to the hard yards during the winter off season. I for one embraced his warmth, passion for peers and conducting himself positively for generation to be inspired and continue his work.
We are in shock to the news. …
We are in shock to the news. Idris, you will be sorely missed by so many people. You were an inspiration to my son Jesse providing confidence & belief in his ability to become a better athlete. Thank you for your positivity, support and dedication. Peckham Rye Park will never be the same! We will not forget you. RIP
