Idris was truly a warm soul. Always joyful, pleasant and welcoming. Every morning upon his arrival to school (in the school car park) he would make known his arrival and presence by playing the most upbeat music inside of his car😊 (He really cherished his car too). Most recently we had a really lovely conversation to address a minor issue we had regarding our cars in the car park 😂. Looking back I’m so grateful that we had that conversation as it will be a lasting fond memory I have of him. Idris was polite, thoughtful and a valuable member to Sacred Heart School. He will truly be missed by me and I pray that our good Lord Jesus Christ will continue to comfort and bless his family and love ones because I can only imagine how amazingly valuable his love and presence was to those who knew him personally and deeply.

With love,
Priscilla
Idris was our Daughters beloved partner, he had been in our lives for several years, we are in shock and greatly saddened by his sudden passing. Idris will be remembered for the happiness that he and Rachelle shared, by his beautiful smile, his hearty laugh and how he gave so much energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the children and adults that he coached both in school and the wider community. We are sure that he will be coaching the angels in Heaven. Dear idris you have left a void in our lives but also a lasting legacy rest in peace. Jim, Desree and Amber Dinsdale ❤️❤️❤️
Sending love to Coach Idris’s family & friends. I am so lost for words and still in shock..
Coach has been there for me since yr7 and he always had my back. He was so much more than just a teacher and coach to his trackstars. He made such a huge impact in our lives individually and I will always be thankful for that. Coach thank you for spreading so much joy, laughter and positivity to everyone you came across. You have touched and inspired so many young people through out your journey. You will truly be missed. Rest easy Coach❤️
This is so sad what an empty world May Allah grant him the highest place in Aljanat firdaous
A truly incredible human who offered so much support to our family whilst training Kayan and Josan...always available ...always there for us and so many other families just like us ...the sports world has lost a legend...still unable to believe Idris will no longer respond to a call / text or voice note ...a true gentleman ...you will be truly missed brother 💔
Today is 4th day as our lives changed since we lost our dear friend that was as close as a Brother and Greatest coach Idris. It shocked our family massively. On Sunday morning I spoke to Idris about planning our sessions for coming week. Next day (Monday evening) we were all sitting and crying and couldn’t believe that our family friend won’t be with us around anymore. My 2 boys trained with Idris for nearly 2 years and result is impressive as well as his session. We became very close friends and after lockdown he supposed to visit us with his girlfriend and try our Ukrainian food... We sang him happy birthday (he did trained on his birthday)... His hugs and smiles will be remembered forever. Rest in peace, our dearest friend.
I was devastated to hear the news of my brother idris. I only met him two years ago and we instantly connected. I was inspired by his drive to succeed and his ability to bring joy to any situation.. I will miss our conversations about basketball and the NBA- my condolences to his family and life long friends. May God’s grace give you comfort during this tough period as our brother transition to the other side. Travel well my friend- Coach C

Idris ! My man as we always used to say to each other . You were such a special human being always wanting to help and guide people I used to love watching how you helped my son Beau and you was so proud when he did well . Your smile and laugh was so infectious even though you was a terrible cheat at 2 touch ! Miss you brother Rest in peace my man , Jamie and Beau Redknapp .
It was not long ago I saw you brother. Still cannot believe it. You will always be remembered. RIP!

To think we will no longer hear your booming laugh raining around Sutton Arena.

Words can not express how deeply saddened I am to hear about the loss of my dear friend, Idris. Someone whose passion for pulling others through was always on display with his radiant smile and words of encouragement.

You were a pillar in our community and we will serve to uphold your legacy.

Rest In Peace, brother 🙏🏾♥️🕊

Even as I’m shedding tears, I’m honoured to have known one of the kindest and caring people in world. Idris was not only my athlete but he was a close friend, and someone whom I considered to be a brother.

May you rest in eternal peace.
I cannot find the words to express the loss of you Idris. You were and will continue to be a truly inspiring man to our son Joél. You coached him for over two years, you came to watch him play on numerous occasions. He simply loved spending time with you and enjoyed the sessions you did, to the point that he wanted more, he wanted to have a go at competing with his sprints and it was that inspiration that took him to the harriers.
I continue to ask “why” and can only come to the conclusion that the lord takes the good ones and has a plan whilst we continue to try to understand meaning.
I have watched over and over the videos I took in your sessions with Joél for him to get some understanding. We have laughed at the enjoyments and the debates of football and how he thought he good beat you in a sprint and then said you cheated. The joy it brought something that we will continue to watch and to know that you will inspire, motivate and continue that legacy to try to reach the top!.
My love and prayers go to Rachelle and your family and friends at this time. I can only hope your legacy and project continues on through those that were close to you. RIP angel fly high.Nikki, Jay, Joél and Alaina
