Idris nd Symeon
Our deepest condolences to Idris's Family and girlfriend Rachelle!
You have become a very big part of our children's lives. Symeon and Lara-Nicole were devastated when we heard the news. It still feels surreal that we won't be greeted at their next session, by your big smile. while arms were crossed on the chest. You would be missed, such a BIG character and influence, you got the best out of both Symeon and Lara-Nicole.
Rest in Peace, Idris! You were one of the good ones 🖤
From: Symeon, Lara-Nicole, Nicky and Yuliya

Gone Too Soon: Idris, you were always determined, committed and full of life. Your smile that you often try to hide, and the laugh you can’t seem to help, gave away what joy abound within you. You gave so much of yourself, you loved and you are loved.
Now you leave an Idris sized hole in all our hearts and the hearts you have touched. We now must fill that hole with our memories of you.
Rest in Peace.
I’m so shocked to hear about this... me and Idris use to banter down at Sutton Arena (about my deep voice)... a man with a clean heart rest in peace my brother!
Such a lovely guy, you will be so missed.
I can’t believe you’re gone, you had so much life in you. God bless you. Maria x

With deepest sympathy to his family for your very sad loss. Joe Steadman
Idris, always the very polite gentleman. Rest in Eternal Peace my Brother.
I still can't get around this! So full of life with your infectious, larger than life laugh. I can't believe you're gone! It feels like just yesterday we were discussing plans, bickering over Mario Kart, that Dru Hill cover we did back in school! With your fiery passion you've impacted and lit up so many lives, a powerful example. A legacy. We met in sixth form and I'm glad we kept in touch. It is an honour to have known you brother. I only wish we had more time, you've gone too soon!

You were like a family member, i’ll never ever forget from where i was to now, one of the most ambitious, most determined, funniest, most real people i’ve ever known. You were a brilliant trainer who always knew how to get the best of me and also was an excellent person. thank you for everything
Idris,
I can't imagine you not being there on the steps with us each lunch setting the world to rights.
I can't imagine not having nonsense conversations about drones or remote control cars.
And I can't imagine not making you your 10 cupcakes.
You were a force of nature; constantly optimistic and up beat and always making me laugh with our banter. I shall miss you deeply and the world is most definitely a darker place without you.

Rest in peace my friend.

It is not length of life, but depth of life.

Rest in peace Idris, I met you around 9/10 years ago when I had just started athletics. We trained together for the next 3 to 4 years and not once did you ever fail to make me laugh (even on the rainy days). Your energy was and will always be unrivalled.
Our whole family were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the sudden and untimely loss of Idris. He had trained with all three of our children who had became very fond of him in a short space of time. He made a particular impression on our son Jay who had been training closely with him. Idris inspired and motivated Jay, pushing him to excel but always with a smile on his face. We send our deepest condolences to his family at this very sad time. He was an amazing coach, mentor and friend.
A met Idris when he joined my son Raheem’s training group with Joe.He was always bubbly.positive.He always liked to play jokes on the group and had a great sense of humour.
It has been a few years since I have seen him but from time to time we kept in touch on social media.
His passing is great loss to partner Rachelle, family and friends. He will be greatly missed.Rest in Peace sweet Idris xxx
Rest in peace Idris, saddened for you and your close ones. I hope you are in a better place and finally at peace.
My sincere condolences to Idris' family, partner and friends. I am so saddened at the loss of a young man who was making and made an impact on so many people.

You will not be forgotten. RIP Idris
Our warmest condolences to Idris’s family and girlfriend. We can’t imagine how devastated you must feel. Idris trained our son Luca for nearly 2 years and we all adored him! We can’t even find words to express our gratitude for his dedication, energy and friendship. We have cried all week as we feel this loss is so hard to pass. Sending you all love and healing prayers. Luca, Riikka, Marcos and Antonio
Such sad news! Although I personally never met Idris in person. I was comfortable and had full confidence in recommending his work to a lot of the children I work with. That is testament to the human, coach and mentor he is.
Inspirational no doubt.
My deepest condolences to his loved ones.

I
Just seeing everything written about coach is nice, to know soo many people were impacted by him, even if he never trained you, his presence alone had an impact. Coach Idris was more than a coach, more than a teacher something like a big brother and a father figure to many. He was like glue holding teams and individuals together, I’m soo grateful to have known such a genuine, enthusiastic, clean hearted man and I know that legends live forever, sadly Idris is gone but his legacy lives on. From the days where he used to tell us ‘you guys are the First Ladies of trackstars’ to ‘if you knew better you’d do better’ or ‘hard work beats talent’ through many ups and downs Idris always had our back, whether we were in trouble at school, going through stuff at home, not competing well we always had that extra push & backing from coach just when we needed it. My deepest condolences to the Ojuriye family & Rachelle. Thank you coach for what you taught us, showed us, helped us become and for just being you. You are greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Rest easy ❤️
Thank you for teaching us better so we could do better.
My condolences go out to Idris’s family and his partner.

I am still in shock with this sad news. Idris was a lovely work colleague of mine and I will always remember Idris for our random funny chats at work.... such a lovely person with a positive energy who will be dearly missed by many.

RIP Idris
