I started coaching Idris while he was in Uni. He just turned up one day and joined in and stayed. He was the life and soul of the group. His antics, his jokes, his big gruff laughter. He was always there for the other members of squad. He was one of my other sons, a special part of my life. He was always in my home, special friend to Trem. Rest In Heavenly Peace my son. 💔

I shall always remember his joyous smile and warm greetings on seeing him at the track , as well as having some great conversations.

Among the best memories and times of my life was to have the privilege to have coached Idris for a short time. He was always up for the challenge, no matter what. Always with a positive attitude, he was curious, honest and above all, a really great bloke. I will miss him.
The news of Idris has hit hard, he was one of life's true greats.
My heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of our dear friend 💔
On behalf of busybee boxing the podcast will never be the same without u bro. Rest in peace
I am still trying to get over the shock of hearing about Idris.
As an athlete and a coach, we had so much in common but the main thing was the banter following the highs and lows of our beloved football team, Arsenal. If you ever wanted to distract Idris from his training/coaching, you just had to start a conversation about football😆.
My sincere condolences to his entire family.
Idris will be dearly missed😥
Im still coming to terms with losing my friend on Monday.

I knew Idris for just over 11 years.

I will always remember that husky laugh, the banter, playing FIFA online, and that time we were in Hollywood in a club and I was trying to chat up Michelle Rodriguez, I thought it was going well and then you came along and destroyed the moment.

Most importantly I was soo proud of your confidence as an athlete and reinventing yourself to have a great business.
