I am the living proof that Doug totally inspired people from another country  who lived  in a  remote area in the Philippine through his music and it's messaged even before the internet .   Doug and the Slugs has been a  part of my teenage years during the time that I am discovering the music scene. 

Thank you Doug !! You will never be forgotten!!! You are not gone, just gone ahead .

Hey Doug buddy just thought I stop by to say hi. Woke up today with you crossing my mind. It brought a smile to my face but also made me emotional. Ended up playing The Generators today and thinking how much of a impact you left on me and everyone you knew. I miss you bud love ya brother
