Hey Doug brother you crossed my mind yesterday and this morning. You made me smile as well cause I just pictured you walking up with a big smile saying hey Alex hows it going bud how are you and liz. Always asking if everything is alright and if we're doing good to always catching up with our conversations. I miss ya bud
Hey Doug brother you crossed my mind today bud and thought about you the rest of the day. Thinking back at the memories we had seeing your smile and laugh brought a smile to my face but also got me emotional. Went back to looking at all the photos I took of you and the brothers at shows and even watched the videos. Just reminiscing  wishing we can hangout and talk again. Miss ya bud

Doug Kane's Memorial Video

I knew Doug since the Schleprock days. My cousin, Ernie, was the drummer for Schleprock and the original Generators. I would hang around a lot with them back then and Doug always made me feel welcomed and part of the crew, and he would let me film everything with my video camera. Wherever and whenever I would see Doug he would always greet me with his devious looking smile, which always made me smile back.

Doug  will always be one of my musical idols, and his voice and swagger will ALWAYS be with us when we drop the needle on one of his records or when we are rocking out with him in our headphones.

Cheers to a life well lived.
