Doug Brennan, simply the best.. Period, end of story. So much of Doug will carry on with all that knew him. And that good that he has done will continue to grow and expand. I first met Doug back in 1990. I was filling a sales position at Zenith Data Systems. Doug came in for an interview. The interview was very short. It took me 5 minutes to extend Doug an offer. Thankfully he excepted, but a year later he was off to Microsoft. We remained friends over the years because he was just the best person to be around. He just had the right stuff. He simply made your day better even if you were having a fabulous day... My wife Michele and I will greatly miss him. Doug was simply the best. Love and Prayers to Leslie, Family and Friends.

I am just gutted to hear this.  My condolences and thinking of you and your family. It's been awhile since I last saw Doug at MSFT, but boy do I miss him as the beacon of inspiration and positivity.  He was always the calm amongst the storm and such a wonderful human to be around.  Much love my friend.
Oh my…so young, so sad, so sorry.  My deepest sympathy to all.

My condolences to Doug’s family. I had the pleasure of meeting Doug through business and quickly realized he was different. Doug was genuine and his presence was peaceful as his smile when he greeted you.  Doug you will be missed my friend.

Leslie, Danny, Robby, Margaret and all the family - my heart goes out to you. I learned so much from this beautiful man, and had more fun with Doug as we worked together to steer Water for Good through some rough patches. I will always remember trips to Africa with him. I could never spend enough time with him. I can’t imagine the grief you feel. I’m praying that God will comfort you as you walk this unexpected fork in the road. If there is ever anything you need please feel free to lean on me.

Dearest Marge Paparella….Doug’s Mom….

Remembering our friendship many years ago…..We are sending our heart -felt love and prayers to you and your family, as you grieve the loss of your loving Doug. May he Rest In Peace as you are given the strength of beautiful memories.

Doug's laugh and sarcasm are what first drew me in. He was one of the most genuine souls I have ever met. He was willing to help out. Willing to listen. He offered advice, but did not preach. And, gosh, he was so much fun. A twinkle in his eye. I am so thankful I knew Doug. To know him was to love him and so much more. Peace to his family and friends. It was much too soon.

Danny and Robby, I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your father. I remember that he always had your backs, even in those crazy teen years. May you feel peace and comfort from the Lord as you grieve and adjust to life without your dad. I know for sure his legacy will live on through you two. Hugs and prayers, Mrs. McMahon

Doug was a wonderful friend to my brother.  When my brother became ill, Doug continued to support and try to help him. Just in the last few months I reached out to Doug to see if he had heard from my brother. I explained my mom was in assisted living and had not heard from my brother and was concerned. Doug’s response was that he had not but if it helped , he would go visit my mom. I have never known a person like Doug, always willing to give and the definition of a true Christian. I am heartbroken that we lost a wonderful person who truly made our world a better place. Love and prayers to his family and friends.
