Truly heart broken. One of the best to ever do it. A friend, a mentor and a leader. His life and legacy will echo in this life and the next...

He was a private in the 340 MP CO 1st Plt.
Bam was a great leader and soldier. No matter his rank he helped move mountains. He was a great person to talk to and confide in. He was always very encouraging, lead by example and was always positive! He will truly be missed!
Friends for over 30t qyears all friendly reminders of the person he was. Always humble but don't be mistaken he'd let you no if there was an issue. Love, hugs and kisses to Chinita, their children and grands. To his mom your hero is just resting be pleased at who he had grown into, a good man. Condolences to you all. Fond memories will get you through tough times....

1SG Bamberg, I could remember all the times we all had a cigar in our hands and were talking about everything on the warm nights of Cuba. You always had the best cigars btw, everytime I introduced something new, you’d say, “try this one, trust me” lol. Getting our hands on some official Cubanos was the highlight of our time in GTMO. You were always a great, knowledgable and funny leader that everyone admired and would stand beside. You will be missed, terrible to see you go. May you rest and enjoy some relaxation.
