GTMO 2020 was a special time with some very special people. I vividly remember 1SG (SFC) Bamberg sitting in the JOC, perfectly poised and giving off an aura of nothing but professionalism. Off-duty, soldiers were able to see Bam in his happy place; relaxed with a cigar in hand. His laugh was infectious and his smoked chicken was delicious. I, as well as the 333rd in 2020, was lucky to have someone like him in our presence. RIP Top 💔. Gone, but not forgotten.

I feel like it was just the other day you were in Fort Hamilton getting things done for your Soldiers! Rest easy. My sincerest condolences to your loving family.  You have left a lasting impression with everyone whom you have met.

Many prayers to family and friends. Deepest condolences. MSG Bamberg was a tremendous mentor, NCO, but most importantly an amazing person. Will be greatly missed. Sleep in peace brother❤️.
