A good man has gone from Iro Ekiti. I remember how he would visit with his vintage Pasat, brown in colour. I learnt he got the car after his graduation from the university. I saw him last in 2005 during my friend, Kunle's wedding in Lagos. May his soul rest in peace. Adeola Balogun

My dad never knew his own fat…

My dad never knew his own father, but he made sure that his children never missed out on having a father. He was always there for us, providing guidance, support, and unconditional love. He was a remarkable father, who instilled in us the importance of family, love, and compassion.

My dad was a wise and calm man, who led by example. He was an excellent educator and an outstanding administrator. He was a teacher to so many and a father to others. He helped so many people that the town dubbed him "father of all our children".

Dad, I salute you. You were an incredible man, and your legacy lives on through your children and the many lives you touched. Rest in peace, knowing that we love you always.
