I was so sorry to hear about Walter's passing. He was so passionate about his work and his people he helped develop.  He was a strong leader and will be greatly missed.
Rest in peace, Walter. He was one of the most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of being around. Walters heart and larger than life personality made anyone around him instantly feel welcomed and it’s a force I’ll never forget. I especially respected the way he spoke about his family and the importance of his own both at work & at home. My heart felt prayers go out to everyone mourning his loss, he was truly one of a kind.

Walter was a great man. He will be missed by so many. When Walter walked into the restaurant his larger than life persona was felt by all of us. His giant stature commanded respect but Walter never demanded respect. Walter’s way was to  earn respect by treating people the right way. He always gave respect to those doing the job the right way with uncompromising standards. And for that he earned my respect. Lord please comfort the Mack family and all his friends through this difficult time and give them comfort knowing that Walter will be looking out for them from above.

Walter was an incredible man, a dear friend, and a wonderful mentor. I could fill a novel with the stories and cherished moments we shared. To Taisha and the kids, we grieve with you and feel your pain and sorrow deeply. Thank you for sharing Walter with us and allowing him to touch so many lives. We are sending you prayers and immense love during this profoundly difficult time. The world will never be the same without Uncle Walty in it. Love Jay, Deborah, and Logan.

Walter was a Big Brother to me. We bonded over similar experiences in work and life. Walter demonstrated true love, support, and compassion in everything he did. My fondest moments were deep life conversations about family, future, and purpose. I will never forget Walter. I am reminded in this to always call, text, reach out, and tell folks you love them.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Mack Family and all the multitudes of people that were impacted by his life.

Big Mack was definitely one of a kind. I've know him for over 30 years. We go back to McDonald's in Tennessee, then became friends and family. U will be missed. We will always be here for your boys and family.  Love always.
My condolences to Walter's family. You were one of a kind and will be missed!

The Man of God always had a smile on his face, he makes everyone he meets feel like they are really important. Always a kind word with much encouragement. From your Brother in CHRIST.

One Love ❤️

I'm so sorry for your loss. May God provide comfort during this very difficult time. My prayers and condolences are with you and your family. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Maybe the only person in stature and personality that could call me “lil bro.” Always protective of those he cared about and relentless focus on developing those around him. I learned so much and you made a massive impact on me in our short time knowing each other. I’ll miss you big dawg and our talks while we were both driving. Our time in Tennessee is etched in history!

You will be so missed, because of you I’ll always remember to have a pen for a job interview, you took so many of us on as part of your family of outbackers and we will forever be grateful for all the memories we had along side you. Earth lost a legend but heaven gained another angel.
