Walter was a great leader and a great man. He's touched many lives and mentored many folks. My heart goes out to his family in these extremely tough times

Sending my sincerest condolences to my nephews, Jeremy and Peter. Your father loved you and was always there for you both. Mack was the hardest working man I know and he took pride in his family. May his soul rest in peace🙏🏽.

If you ever crossed paths with Walter he would welcomed you with open arms. I grew into be leader in outback with his guidance and support. He brought so many people together with his outback family. My nickname is Stix and as soon as I formed a family and had my own, he asked how little twig was doing. He jokingly loved his outbackers as much as his own. And we appreciate him so much for all he did for us as team. We love you Walter and thank you for your guidance through this paths we crossed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at the loss of my dear childhood friend, Peter. I've known Peter since I was 6 years old (he was 9). We were "Birthday Buddies" because my birthday is 11/19 and his is 11/20. Peter was talented, kind and strong. He played the drums at our church (his late father's church, St. Peter Chapel COGIC in Harvey, LA) until he graduated high school and left to join the Marines.
Peter and I reconnected one weekend when I was a freshman in college and he was stationed in Fredericksburg. Though we are not blood related, he was the consummate "Big Brother", making sure that I was ok since I was so far from home.
I got the chance to see Peter again last year (2024) at his father's funeral after 35 years. It was good to see him and meet his beautiful wife and children. And even though we didn't get a chance to have a long conversation, he was the same kind hearted person that I remember, and I will cherish his memory forever.
Love, prayers and blessings to Taisha, the children, the Macks, and all who knew and loved Peter.
AMEN.

I met Walter when he first come to NYC to train for JVP role 14 years ago. He was a larger than life person figuratively speaking, humble, and highly driven. We worked side by side for 10 years.. He had the kind of discipline and drive in life only that being acquired from being a Marine! Sempre Fi.
Walter was and will always be a brother and a true friend!

You will be missed.

The first thing you notice about Walter, when you see him wasn’t his size. For me it was that ever present smile. A smile that lit up a room. I’ve known few people like him. Someone who gave so much of himself to so many and did it out of love and joy. The greatest legacy one can leave is a wave of love. My prayers are with his family who he often spoke of with such love and care. As well as for all the lives that Walter touched. May his memory be a blessing.

Although I only knew him for a short time, he left a lasting impression on me. This past year, I had the privilege of getting to know Walter better as we spent three days traveling his market and sharing lots of time on the road together. We talked about life, his experiences in the military, and most memorably, his deep pride in his family and children. He spoke about them with such genuine love and joy—it was clear how much they meant to him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
