I will miss Vinod, a man full of passion for what he needed to do, enthusiasm to teach and willingness to help whenever you reached out. His ever smiling demeanor and full of life conversations will be missed sorely . BTI India has lost a mentor and a friend. My heartfelt sympathies towards each and ever family members and to Brij his partner.
Vinod Gupta ji was a great human being, always ready to donate generously. It was in his nature to give back to Society in every possible way.He was very committed to Girl education for under prevelaged. As a man he was outspoken and would express his views frankly and without any bias and hesitation. Because of his sincerity and dedication he has earned respect, love and admiration of our members in Rotary Club of New Delhi. He was part of all important project commetties of our Club. He was a friend and Guide to me. Whenever I was in any confusion I would look up to him and his thoughts would clear my vision. I have many fond memories of time spent with him. We have traveled together along with our families to Egypt and Bhutan. Personally, I have lost a good friend and guide and RCND a strong pillar. His memories will always be in our thoughts. May God bless his noble Soul and give strength to Lata ji and family members to bear this tragedy.
I met Vinod in1972 when he joined HAL Hyderabad as a management trainee. Ever since then we were good friends. We stayed in Hyderabad for few years then VINOD surprised us all when he quit HAL for a private job. After our marriages we became close family friends. Rita, my wife was very close to Lataji. Then destiny brought us together in UK and then in Delhi in 1981 till He was taken away by the destiny. He was a person who wanted to live life to the full. He did what he wanted to. He was a born teacher thatβs why he chose Training profession and trained thousands of highly educated professionals including many IAS Officers in his extraordinary career. He was very well read and introduced few renowned authors to me . Ayn Rand was one of them. He was also very passionate about serving poor people He contributed a lot for the needy through Rotary club. The happiest part was that Lataji worked with him side by side in this pursuit. Finally VINOD did not come to this world just to live an ordinary life. He came here to celebrate the wonderful creation of God. With wonderful wife and children as the unique gift of God He enjoyed life and cherished every moment not only in India but many parts of the world. We rarely get such unique friends. I shall always miss him till I live in this world. Dr GovindChaturvedi
My condolences. Very sorry to hear about your loss.
Had the good fortune of knowing Vinod thru our journey when we were getting certified as Coaches.
And thru the course of this certification, I ended up speaking to both you (you were based in London then) and your mum.
The whole journey (though a few months) , helped me appreciate Vinodβs grit, his constant striving to staying on top of things and βcan doβ mindset. He never hesitated to speak his mind. He was always proud of his accomplishments.
Manu, Like any proud father, Vinod would talk about your achievements and success as his own.
Covid has left us all helpless and grief stricken.
I hope and pray that God gives strength to the entire family to bear this loss and heal you.
A really gentle, gentleman. Professional to the core and transparently genuine. My memory of a very brief association just three years old. A good life.
Mamaji knows me since my birth...I got to know him much later when I grew up. After my studies...when I joined my first job, I realised his wisdom. His inputs helped me overcome difficulties I faced in my career. I remember when my first promotion was delayed in comparison to my peers. He said...you have a working life of 40 years..... 1 or 2 years is only 2-3% do not worry.....focus on the long term. This advice helped me reach where I am today. He was my go to person for any dilemna I ever had. After papa left I looked up to him for advise which was always forthcoming...and I need not mention.... he was also an affectionate Mamaji.
My condolences on Vinod's passing. May the almighty give strength to the family. Vinod was known to me professionally and we had a met a few times. I will continue to remember him as a very balanced, gentlemanly and well spoken professional. Om Shanti.
On behalf of Rtrn Madhulika & myself - We met Vinod Ji & Lata Aunty through Rotary. Thereafter we became good friends with them. The news of his sudden & untimely passing isΒ so saddening & absolutely hard to believe!! Vinod Uncle was a person of vigour and full of life.
I recall many unforgettable memories from the different travel trips we had gone on together, as a group. The last one had been to Kenya in Jan of 2020. Mahesh Uncle & Susheela Aunty were also with us on that journey. These had been delightful trips , with everyone's company making it all the more fun. But so sorrowfully, both brothers , in a short span of time - Mahesh Uncle & Vinod Uncle have left us !!
Vinod Ji was an avid book reader & he was well-informed about many a subject. This had been a spark for a number of interesting conversations with him, that I fondly remember, at Rotary and on our travel trips.
A very active Rotarian, the absence of his friendly, supportive and smiling self is going to be felt by club members. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Lata Aunty and her family. Both Mahesh Uncle and Vinod Uncle were wonderful gems who we are really going to miss.
Shocked to hear the news of Vinod passing on! My heartfelt condolences to his family! Will pray to Almighty to rest his soul in peace and give strength to endure this tragic loss! - G. Inbavanan, Founder & Chief Practice Officer, M/s People Dimensions@Work, Bangalore, India

Dear Manu, Had a chance to work and learn with your father. He was always so accessible professionally. I spoke to him in February when I needed help. Great mentor and thorough gentleman. Will miss him. God give you and all in family to bear the loss and cherish his life.
Vinod and I worked in Modi Xerox and for a few years from the same office in NFC. I was part of the energy in MX in those days, that we believed we were delivering for a cause and not simply doing a job. Vinod exemplified this in all his actions with a big dose of gentleness and grace. Proud to have known him! RIP Vinod! Catch you on the other side some day!
Am shocked to learn that dear Vinod is no more. I had known Vinod professionally over 15 years - always a smile on his face and the highest level of professionalism. My prayers are there for his soul. Heartfelt condolences to the family.

My heartiest condolences to Late Rtn. Vinodji.
I fondly recall my various interactions with Vinodji during weekly Rotary fellowship at Ashoka Hotel, New Delhi. I had joined Rotary for business networking when I relocated to New Delhi from London. His was my first Rotary Club.
It was sad to learn about Rtn. Vinodji's demise due to Covid.
I met Vinod in 1987 when I joined Modi Xerox as a CRO. He along with Kala were my first trainers who inducted me into Xerox. It was almost my first job and Vinod went out of his way to make me comfortable. His particular way of saying Good Morning Rohini set an enthusiastic note for the day Our paths connected again around 2006 or so since both of us had adopted learning and consulting. Once again I was trained by Vinod, this time in business simulations and he still had the same patience and enthusiasm. Rest in peace Vinod. Gone too soon. You will be missed
Extremely shocking. I worked with Vinod at Modi's and we were quite close. IITians have a natural bond. He was a wonderful person and I learnt a lot from him. Deepest condolences to the family. May his soul rest in peace.
Being my batchmate from IIT since 1966, I have known Vinod for 55 years. Our IIT-Group activities have kept us engaged and bonded right upto this day and my wife Sujata and I have been very fond of Vinod and Lata. Vinod is always the one to take initiative and organise the meetings and get-togethers we have and are able to enjoy the most thanks to Vinod's keen interest, extraordinary warmth and his flair in making each and every event and great success. He really loved to be happy in life and his vibrant nature permeated all the people who came in his presence. Vinod had this very rare quality of clarity of thought on every subject and was also a keen listener for everything one who wished to share, even the small details. Vinod is great example of how to live and enjoy life to the fullest and a great inspiration for all of us to learn from.
We will miss him a lot but will cherish his memory within us.
Wishing Lata and all members of Vinod's family courage and strength to bear this loss. God bless and love.
