I first met Vinod , on my very first day at work , on 15th June 1981 at S B Billimoria &Co . He was always the mentor and guide and this relationship developed into a close friendship . He was my first boss in Modi Xerox where also, in his typical supportive style , helped me settle in .
A wonderful human bring , I will always cherish his friendship .
May he rest in peace
Sorry to hear about sad news. Had worked with him in the past.
My association with Vinod Gupta goes back to early 1985, at Modi Xerox. Going down the memory lane, I can recount so many wonderful moments we shared together at the professional & personal level. As a human being, one of the finest I have met.. intelligent, patient, friendly , affable , supportive & above all a warm person.
We shared not only the office space, but also our lunches and many happy evenings with him and Lata at Shiekh Saria.
I am sure for the wonderful person that he was, he will surely have a special place in God's own home.
Our condolences to the entire family.
Om Shanti.
I have known Vinod for more than 20 years. First met him for a career development workshop, which I had organised at DPS R K Puram in the end of 90's. He later joined Rotary and we became good friends. He was elder to me and I took him as a mentor in many ways, discussing my children education and career with him. He was always helpful, caring and responsive. Both my children have known the family and experience a sense of deep loss. We went to several vacations togather. Noteworthy are a 15 day trip together to Austria in 2011 and more recently to Jordan and Israel in 2018. While I organised a Blood Donation and Health Check-up Camp each year, he offered unconditional support and help. On a couple of occasions when he was not in town, he ensured that Lata ji would be there with us at the camp.

It was thru him that we got to know Mahesh ji and while we have suffered his loss, so recently, we have this extremely sad news. We are all numbed at the thought of not having him any more.

Words are not enough to express either our friendship or our terrible loss . We can only pray for his eternal peace. And be by your side at all times.

Looked upto Vinod as a Senior L & D professional. He was always available for guidance and was straight to the point.

Heart-felt condolences... May his soul rest in peace
Was in MX with him for a few years. Also partnered with him when he was a consultant. Good man. Could be serious and mirthful at the same time. Took things seriously but nothing was too big to be consumed by it
My heartfelt condolences. May God give his family strength to cope with the irreparable loss.
Vinod's association with me was limited in the early 90s, but it is a reflection of the impact he and Brij had made when I was a young manager in Modi Xerox ( a company which many of us still consider "family") that his untimely passing leaves behind a feeling of void difficult to rationalize.

His intellectual abilities and systematic approach to problem solving is something which will always remain with me.

My condolences to his family in this difficult hour. Though he has gone to a better world with no disease, greed and selfishness his guidance will always be with his loved ones.

As is rightly said, a person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts, and through us they live on.

And, our belief in Vedantic teachings prompt us now to pray that as and when the soul is ordained to come back to this world, may it come to a good, peaceful and blessed home.

God bless.
My friendship with Vinod goes back close to 60 years. We were classmates at ASVJ SCHOOL, 1963-66 and IIT, Delhi 1966-71. We also briefly worked for the same company, BK Modi Group in late 80s.

Vinod was a very dear friend who will remain in my memory forever. We used to meet often at get togethers of our IIT friends. He was the binding force for the group and was the Go To person whenever an outstation friend was visiting Delhi and wanted to meet his IIT friends.
On the occasion of my 71st birthday last year Vinod made a video recording of his birthday message for me remembering the time we spent together.

Rest in peace dear friend.
Vinod, was a fine gentleman, an extremely loving and positive person. Having known him for many years learnt a lot from him. We travelled together on many memorable trips. We will miss him.
Heartfelt condolences to Lata and family. CP/ Cdr CP Sharma and Neeru Sharma
I just can’t believe that Vinod is no more. I met him in a Train The Trainer event in Delhi on the subject of Business Simulation. I was wonder stuck on the knowledge of business but also accounts. I was asking myself if only I had that knowledge. He was polite and caring trainer and I learned a lot from him. When I came to know that he is no more I could not believe the news.
While I share my heartfelt condolences I pray that may his soul Rest In Peace. Truly we have lost a great human and a wonderful Facilitator and a teacher

Vinod ji was very humble and positive person. May god give Lata ji and his family to bear this loss . Vinod will always in heat. We miss him very much
Vinod and I worked as colleagues at Modi Xerox for eight years between 1988-1996. Our relationship was strictly professional for the first five years. Lata and Vinod became family friends later on, and that redefined our relationship. Professionally, Vinod had a consultant's mindset - very analytical and systematic. He conducted excellent workshops on customer-centricity. At a personal level, he was highly considerate and kind towards everyone. Outgoing and helpful. The most memorable moment for many of us in the Xerox Quality Services was the adventurous trip we went off as a family to Naukuchiatal. We trekked, ate 'pahadi' food, and climbed up to 6000 feet on Kumaon hills.
My deepest condolences to Lata, Manu, Shalini, and their family members. I will miss him for a long time to come.
Vinod Ji was a great human and an asset to the Society. His focus and dedication towards society was outstanding. A man of values and great humanity. May god give Strength to family to bear this huge loss.

I have seen Tauji as a great entrepreneur and as an extremely intelligent person. He was an excellent orator and a very hard working man. It's unimaginable that he is no more. My heartfelt condolences are there with everyone. May God rest him in peace.
