Vinod Gupta was a gem of a person and a gentleman to the core. He was always ready to help the needy. He treated everyone with regard and respect. He was a very dedicated person always willingly to take any responsibility assigned to him and performed same immaculately with passion and devotion. He had the vision and foresight. He was a skillful and committed person. He was a doer and goer. He was very hardworking and diligent. He was a very loving person to everyone. He was a great human being. We should all follow his legacy.
I have lots of fond memories of knowing Vinod Gupta ji. We cannot forget the interactions with him. His sudden passing away is a very big loss to everyone. It is also my personal loss. I find myself short of words. I have lost a great friend and well wisher. I am very sad and can't express my feelings. He will always be remembered for his sweet smile. His departing is an immensely untimely loss. He will always be remembered as a very good person and a Noble Soul. We lost his elder brother, Shri Mahesh Gupta ji in September 2020 and now just after eight months only , Vinod Gupta ji has also left us on 23rd May 2021. Both the Brothers have gone in a span of just 8 months only. Mahesh Gupta ji was also a very affectionate and a very fine gentleman and a great person, another gem amongst our friends . Demise of both the brothers is a great loss to Rotary and RCND.
Our sincere homage to his wonderful cherished memories. May Lord Almighty God take him in His pious Lotus feet. Our deepest condolences to Lata ji and family. May Lord give strength to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss and void with fortitude. Om Shanti ! ----- Vimal Gupta 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I grew up watching uncle and aunty. They were always Shalini's parents and fellow Sagittarians. Then I had professional discussions with uncle since we were both from the same field. Uncle's knowledge and vision helped me better my skills. The conversations are still fresh in my mind and uncle will live in our hearts forever!
High energy levels, passion to be a coach & raise your benchmarks and the warmth of a friend whenever you meet Vinod had never reduced since I met him in 80's. Today I realize that how selfishly I used to reach out to him every time i was in a state of dilemma about a business decision or a career change move. Vinod would always be willing and would help settle confusion. I will surely miss you Vinod, rest in peace my friend.
Our heartfelt condolences to the family. Vinod was an amazing gentleman and mentor to me. He made such an impression on me when I started working with him in Modi Xerox in 1987. He was helpful, supportive had a wonderful and positive personality. I owed a large part of my success to his guidance. May his Soul Rest In Peace. He will be missed -
Vinod Bhai Sahib was an elder brother & friend to me. Always smiling, very jovial and having a knack of attracting everyone We visited hi ihis earlier residence at Sarita Vihar ,subsequently after the Noida kothi was constructed he very proudly showed us around his house. His Study was his own corner and his books were his prized possession.
It is sad that we have lost him, but these are the ways of Lord Krishna who controls each & every breath that we take & also who has to go back to Godhead when.
We pray to Lord Krishna to accept Dear Vinod Ji in HIS LOTUS FEET, the ultimate destination.
No words can reduce the sorrow and grief of the bereaved family but Lord Krishna will surely give all family members strength to bear this irrepairable loss. Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krisha Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

Dear Manu, Shalini and Lata It is really sad to know that my dear friend Vinod is no more. I met him in December 1971 when we joined HAL together. We have been keeping in touch till 2016 when he used to come down to Bengaluru for training. I am indebted to him for helping me quit smoking after 48 years. He was a jovial guy and very interested in reading. I will miss him. Rest in peace friend
I came more close to Vinod ji during his Presidentship of the Rotary Club of New Delhi . He was always meticulous in his working and gentleman from the Core of his heart . Many happy memories of the events planned with him during his presidential years He would always go out of the way to help the needy children . Will really miss him Heart Felt condolences to Lata ji and Family Om Shanti ! 🙏🙏🙏
I first met Vinod ji at his home when he had invited us ( me and my wife) to introduce us to Rotary and its functioning. He was the Vice President of our club at the time. Since then, he has been a great friend and a guide all through my tenure in our club , where I had been with him on several important club commitees together and when I was the elected President. He had been a very strong support for any social cause taken by the club and always helped with his time , effort , ideas and monetory contributions. He also very actively added his knowledge to a variety of subjects at the speaker meetings and it was amazing to know how he managed to read so much and travel so widely. With him we have lost a key pillar of our club. His departure was very untimely and shocking to me. Goodby and rest in eternal peace my friend. We will miss you!
My condolences to the family & wishing peace for the departed soul.
I pray you all may find the strength to overcome this grief. Though it is said time heals all wounds, I pray the sadness of the loss diminishes over time.
In life, one has many acquaintances, some friends but, a very few “DOST”. In Vinod, I have lost a DOST, my Confidante with whom I could laugh, share everything without any inhibitions and seek his valuable guidance & advice in my Professional as well Personal life. I met him first time in 1984 when he interviewed me for a job in Dubal. And the destiny, one year later, we both were at Modi Xerox, India. From then on, our bondage just kept growing. He stood by me in my challenging days in my professional life and always encouraged me to keep high spirits. Vinod, my DOST, was my Guru, my Mentor and my Executive Coach right from 2005 till I retired in 2016. He was instrumental in shaping me as an Effective CEO. He was always Positive, Encouraging and Smiling even in adverse circumstances. These two qualities set him apart. He was Corporate Trainer for close to 10 years of my Siegwerk India, a German MNC. He trained and coached not only my Core and Management Team but, virtually every member of the company, 400 plus. He knew my Team as well as me, may be even better, knew them by name and won their confidence and Trust by his unbiased attitude and guidance.
News of him getting Corona virus in-spite of getting vaccine doses was surprise. When he came out of ICU, Rekha and I thought he was doing better and improving as per last conversation of Rekha with Lata. We were hopeful that he will come back home, safe and sound finally But, it was not to be. He has left a BIG VOID in my life which will be difficult to fill. I know, I will always miss him
Rekha joins me to offer our deepest condolences to Lata and family. May God give Lata and family strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss. In deep grief, Rekha and Vijay Gupta, Green Park, New Delhi. Om Shanti
Dear Vinod Gupta or Vinod ji - as we knew him during those years in Modi Xerox, always combined the simplicity of expression with a very analytical mind which worked in background. My recent interactions when I took his inputs and ideas on taking over as President in Rotary at RCGQE, were very very Warm, Frank and Enlightening, to say the least. His capability to get into depth made him a kind of expert in matters and regulations pertaining to Rotary. Dear Vinod ji, you will be missed, as an ex-colleague in Modi Xerox and till recently a colleague in Rotary, for all the enthusiasm you brought in. I and my wife Anita send our CONDOLENCES to Lata ji and the rest of the family and PRAY that the departed soul may rest in peace and the family get strength to bear this loss. Om Shanti Shanti Om !!!! Lokesh Bhan
Very sad to hear the news of his untimely demise. Covid has taken too many people away from us! I first met him in early nineties while at Modi Xerox. He came to Calcutta to review our “Kaizen” customer care team quality initiative. I remember how Mr. Gupta – the General Manager and a gentleman per excellence, made us (we - the front-line workers!) all feel so important and highly encouraged with his valuable feedback. I will hold on to the nice letter he wrote to me (& to my team)…will remember his great smile! Thanks to Manu for sharing the excellent video …come to know more about his values and life’s journey. My heartfelt condolences to the family and my prayers…Om Shanti
A. Good humanitarian who was always in lead to serve. Will miss you. Stay happy where ever you are. Lataji you know we are there for you whenever you require our services.
