My heart is heavy. My sister from another mother has earned her wings. I thought we would continue to travel and grow old together, but God has use for you in heaven. We will look out for the fellas for you. Love you, and I'll miss you Sis.❤️ Pier
I am so sorry to hear about Stephanie’s passing. She was truly the heart of Invesco and I can’t even express how much of an impact she had on me. She was one of the first people I met at my first job and was so welcoming and kind. I aspire to be as warm and contribute as much to the world as she did.
Ms. Stephanie will always hold a special place in my memories. After over 30 years as her hairstylist, I will miss our conversations. She was more than a client; she was like a sister-friend who never met a stranger. I’ve watched her approach others, introduce herself, and start a conversation as if she had known them forever. Her laugh brought joy to every room. She displayed wisdom and strength to many young women and carried herself like the virtuous woman she was. She clearly demonstrated what she taught me: that “a third of our life we should be learning, a third earning, and a third returning.” I saw her living that out. A phenomenal woman with her own ministry—which I’ll call the Ms. Stephanie Ministry! I could say more, but those who knew her, you were all recipients of her ministry.
I am incredibly saddened to hear of Stephanie’s passing. She was truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. Stephanie was one of the first people I met at Invesco, and she immediately made a lasting impression. She was so intentional about building relationships and always showed a genuine interest in others. She never missed wishing me a happy birthday and always asked how my kids were doing whenever she saw me. That was simply who she was—thoughtful, caring, and sincere. My deepest condolences go out to her family.
I am truly saddened to hear of Stephanie’s passing. I enjoyed working with her on the Invesco Marketing team and felt her genuine energy and warm positivity in every interaction we had throughout the years. Sending my thoughts and prayers to her boys 💙💙💙

Brandon, Aaron, and Steven, I was heartbroken to hear about your mom. Stephanie meant so much to me, and I loved and respected her dearly.

She had an incredible heart and a way of showing up for people that was truly special. She looked out for so many, especially young professionals finding their way, and she was often the first person I would call when I needed advice, perspective, or simply someone to listen.

We worked closely together as founding members of the Invesco Black Professionals Network, and I saw firsthand how much she cared about making a difference. She was deeply respected, not just for what she accomplished, but for the kindness, integrity, and compassion she brought into every room.

What she was most proud of, though, was being your mom. She spoke about you all with so much love and pride. It was clear how much you meant to her.

Please know that her impact on others, including me, will never be forgotten. I will carry her example with me always.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sincerely,

James Nelson

Stephanie Valentine’s depth of character was both profound and unwavering. She was trustworthy, caring, kind, strong, and courageous — a woman whose faith guided her, whose love for her sons anchored her, and whose commitment to her community uplifted so many.

At Invesco, her value was immeasurable. Beyond her professional excellence, she championed diversity, equity, and inclusion with conviction and boldness. She stood for what was right without hesitation — truly, there was no shame in her game.

May her legacy continue to shine through the countless lives she touched. I am holding her family, friends, and all who loved her in my heart.

Sending prayers and condolences to you and your family. I met Ms. Stephanie at Gloria’s Hair Salon. Ms. Stephanie was my best friend and every other Friday when we would see each other we would hug and smile and talk about our day and plans for the weekend. Ms. Stephanie was a total blessing to me and I always called her “My Ms.  Stephanie!!” I’m truly going to miss her and I know she’s resting in peace. Rest on beautiful Angel.
