Coming from Hong Kong, Stephanie was the first Invesco colleague that I met in our Atlanta HQ back in 2019, and she immediately made me feel at home. She took the time to give me a tour of the office and then sat down with me patiently to explain the inner-workings of our team. Her warmth, cheery disposition and patience were very much appreciated. She was a treasured part of our team and I am so fortunate to have gotten to know over the past few years. Stephanie - you are missed, you are a treasured team member that added so much to our team culture and it won't be the same without you.
Stephanie was a kind, funny, passionate colleague, making everyone she worked with feel valued. Working with her for almost 10 years, she really cared about people and that was felt acutely in APAC. Regardless of distance/time zone, Stephanie always made an effort to ensure our teams felt included and consulted on projects, even when it was well outside her working day. I will miss her guidance and positive energy, she was a special person. My thoughts are with her family.
Stephanie, (Mama Valentine) became my work mom away from home, and my mentor for the past 4 years. Stephanie is a force, a trailblazer, a pioneer,  and a pure angel in her own right. The most selfless person I've ever encountered. I'm heartbroken and will forever cherish my memories with her. I want to personally thank Brandon, Steven,  and Aaron for allowing us the opportunity to share your amazing mother with so many of us. My heart is with you.

Stephanie was more than a colleague. She was my sister.

Our offices sat side by side, and over the years, hers stopped being just the office next door. We were in each other's offices often. Morning tea. Afternoon round-ups. And, our walk to the parking deck at the end of the day. We never rushed it. She had a goodnight for everyone.

Our friendship lived outside the office, too.

I cannot write about her in the past tense. Everything in me resists it.

I have never known anyone who made herself as available as Stephanie did. Her door was always open, literally and in every other way. No matter how full her plate or how heavy her own load, she made room. For colleagues, for friends, for strangers. She remembered the small things. She showed up. She made people feel seen.

And of course, the community organizations. The underserved and the overlooked. That was where she put her time, her whole life. Quietly, constantly, with no need for credit. That was who she was.

To Brandon, Steven, and Aaron, you were her proudest subject, her favorite story, the light she carried into every room. "The fellas." Her love for the three of you was one of the truest things I have ever known. I am here, in every way she would have wanted me to be.

My friend, my sister. Thank you for all that you were.

Stephanie,  sweet, genuine, talented and beautiful. It hurts to know she is no longer with us.  She was my daughter Jasmine's God mother, whose life was also cut short by cancer.  My condolences to the family. I pray that  God comforts your hearts.
I can’t began to tell you how many times I’ve called your mom day or night she always took the time to give words of encouragement and prayer, I will miss her dearly.

Stephanie was an amazing person and beloved by everyone who knew her. I was lucky enough to work with her on multiple projects including Invesco Cares and the Invesco Women’s Network. Basically, if there were an initiative that could make people’s lives better, Stephanie was involved. I still remember her poised, confident speech at the fifth anniversary of our Atlanta Women’s Network chapter. She held the complete attention of everyone in that room with her calm delivery and quiet authority.

As many have noted, she was the first to congratulate you on a job well done, and she never missed sending a thoughtful note on birthdays and work anniversaries.

She also had a great sense of humor and could see people so clearly. Whenever I needed perspective, I would stop by to see if she had a moment to talk. She adored her family and was so proud of her boys. She lit up when she talked about them.

I feel incredibly grateful to have known her - she truly was the GOAT. May her memory forever be a blessing.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Sis Stephanie. We attended Bible Way Ministries and I’ve never seen her unpleasant! She always greeted me and my children with the kindest, sweetest hugs and love!! She was an inspiration and encourager to my daughters and grands!  We are going to miss you so much. Love and prayers for her sons, sister, other family, friends and church family. Until we meet in the rapture! Love, Sis Medina and family

Brandon, Aaron and Steven, there are no adequate words to express our thoughts and feelings at this moment. Your mom was a great woman of faith, so we pray that your faith will be strengthened during this time and that you will be comforted by the legacy and memories Stephanie leaves in the Atlanta Community and especially her South Cobb Family (Austell, Smyrna, Mableton, Powder Springs... and beyond).  Please know Mr. Roberson and I are praying for you and know that you are not alone.

Words cannot express the relationship I’ve had with Sister Stephanie over the years. I am deeply saddened by her loss. What sister Stephanie meant to my family cannot be placed into words. She watched over us while my father was away and gave us structure and support. She gave my mother a safe place that she could commune and grow. She built a community for my older sister Jayda. She pushed my other sister Kai in ways only she could. And she fostered natured and supported my brothers talents. I could go on and on about the impact she has had on my life. From talks about School, from Sunday school lessons, to learning about financial lessons. Sister Stephanie has been a key contributor to everything I’ve done in my life so far. I am eternally grateful for gift of Sister Stephanie’s life and ministry. She was a servant at heart. A shining example of how you should push yourself to grow.

Thank you Brandon, Aaron and Stephen for sharing your mother with us. Our lives will be forever altered because she came into it.

To the family of Sister Stephanie. She was always sweet and kind to me. She always greeted me with a beautiful smile and hug. Her love for everyone came through her smile. Love love you dearly. Donna Broughton
Stephanie you mean so much to me more than I can truly put into words. The impact you’ve had on my life is beyond anything I can fully express. You’ve shaped me into a different person; the way I think, the way I connect with people—so much of that has changed because of you.
There’s so much I want to say that it feels endless, like there’s no full stop to it. More than anything, I wish I could just hug you and tell you all of this in person.
I miss your presence every single moment.
