Chip, I am so sorry for your imense loss.
We were so sorry to hear about Stefene. Her family has our deepest condolences. They are in our thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
Going to school with Megan, I remember how much she talked about her Mom. It's obvious they were close. From the stories Megan told, Mrs. Richards was clearly a great and dedicated mother. My heart goes out to all of her children and to her husband.

I remember when Steph and Chip met each other. It was just before Chip and I moved in together as roommates in graduate school. We were all wide-eyed and optimistic, and care-free. We were so excited when we all got married, and they went to Phoenix, and we went to Colorado. It has been an amazing journey, and I am so heartbroken that our journey together has been cut short by Steph’s passing. We had all been talking occasionally about the challenges of parenting, and I am so sorry that our conversations will now be without Steph. I love you, Chip, and I know we will always stay in touch about life and love and parenting. I look forward to those conversations. Your good friend, Brian Tallant.
I was saddened to hear the news about Steffe. When I went to this site the first thing I saw was her picture...her smile! The same smile that I remember from when we were kids, always kind, always happy. I wish the best for her family. I hope that when they are feeling sad and missing her, they can picture her smile, and maybe smile too.

I remember meeting Stefen for the first time when she and Chip lived in that tiny apartment with what seemed like a garage door for the main entrance.
I remember just after meeting Stefene for the first time she and Chip came over and they, and my wife and I, did some chicken fighting in the pool. Then Chip and I swapped wives, at which point the game got serious. LOL. I believe that Stefene and I won that round. Ha!
She was always a fighter and a real competitor. Fun loving and very caring. She always greeted me with a smile and warmth that immediately made me feel like I was welcome.
She even came to one of our LAN parties. Not much of a player, she was still happy to contribute an extra body for the rest of us to take care of before winning any games.
Always the entrepreneur, she never gave up looking for trying ways to further herself and make things better for the family.
Stefene always had a giving spirit. She volunteered during numerous Girl Scout events. Her family was #1. She dedicated countless hours perfecting dishes to fit all her families needs. Our family BBQ's are some of my cherished memories. Stefene will be in our hearts always.
Great wife, mother, friend. Your constant optimism and positivity will be missed by all. We know you’re in heaven and if we’re just half as good as you we will get there too!
I was so sorry to hear about Stefene's passing. She was such a kind and thoughtful person. I know she loved her family very much and will continue to watch over them from above. We love you and will miss you!
Our deepest sympathy to Chip and kids. She was a cheerful neighbor. We will keep you in our prayers.
Brent and I are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers go out to you and your family.
Sorry for your loss and may God strenghten you in this time of need. You and your family will be in my prayers.
Stefene has been a true friend of mine since high school! Lots of good memories! I was delighted to reconnect with her in Arizona once I learn we only lived a couple miles apart in Peoria! Gone too soon! Stefene will be missed!!!
