With heavy hearts, we would like to briefly explain the circumstances of Shirley’s sudden passing. For several months Shirley was the unfortunate victim of an internet scam that preyed on her kind heart and generosity. The threats made to her against her family were significant and believable. The fierce protection she felt towards her family led her to sacrifice herself to save her loved ones from harm. Because Shirley is the strongest woman we’ve ever known, she survived and was ultimately able to return to the comfort of her own home and be cared for by her family and dearest friend Denise until her passing. There is an ongoing federal investigation into those responsible for this tragedy and we appreciate your patience and kindness as we continue to navigate this difficult time. Love you more.
