We are so sorry for your loss. Heaven gained a beautiful angel.
Craig & I are so very sorry to hear about Shirley. Craig introduced me to Shirley years ago, and she has always been very nice and friendly to me. She and Fred even visited us in Tennessee. I loved seeing her posts on FB with pictures of the deer in her yard, and her monthly gift flower arrangements. Craig has always thought so much of the entire Gingell family. We'll be thinking of you all over the coming days and months. Much love to each of you!

Our sincerest heartfelt prayers and condolences to Freddy & Alba , Tammy & Tom and their families .
Love, Sal, Cindy and girls.
Some of my fondest memories in my teens was when we would go to Fred and Shirley's house to see Freddy and then just end up visiting with the family. Shirley and Fred would always make us feel at home and we would laugh for hours. One time on one of those visits, Shirley had made homemade pizza. We were all just sitting around gabbing when Shirley, describing a situation says "Well I tell ya!... I hope to better tell ya!" We all kind of looked at each other and started laughing. That saying stuck over the years and was sort of an inside joke that was so very precious to me. Thank you Shirley.

MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY OF THIS WONDERFUL LADY, I GOT TO KNOW SHIRLEY FROM WORKING WITH HER AT LAPEER HOSP, MY HEART ACHES FOR THE LOSS OF A BEAUTIFUL CARING WONDERFUL WOMAN.
Shirley was amazing in so many ways! Her example of love was so evident that she never had to say anything, yet you felt her love. She understood her death was not an ending but a movement along the path we are all traveling. It is painful to lose contact with her physical love and affection, fortunately her Spirit can never be lost which will always be part of our lives.
I am so sad and sorry for the loss of such an amazing strong loving and caring woman. Always smiling and always sending the best advise when needed. She loved life. My heart goes out to her beautiful family and friends. She will be missed by so so many. I love you all
RIP Shirley🙏
I met Shirley in the bank on the corner of Drahner & M-24 in Oxford in the 1970's. She came up to me and said "You look just like Thom Halsey! Are you related?" She was friendly, upbeat and kind from that first moment and ever after. I have admired her generous and loving nature as a mom, grandmother, friend and volunteer. I have also seen firsthand the deep love that Tammy, Thom and Erica (and I'm sure John now too!) feel for Shirley. She lived a beautiful life.
Dear Fred ,Tammy and family, we are truly heartbroken to hear of the passing of Shirley. I have many great memories of her and our families growing up when we were kids. The trips to Stoney beach were always fantastic. She always had a smile and one of the best laughs ever. Mom sends her love as well, she will be unable to attend due to illness. May god bless you all in this difficult time and always. Dave and Lisa Moore

Dear Fred, Alba, Tam, Thom and your loving families - our hearts ache for all of you during this time. Your dear Shirley has always been one of Oxfords finest and a favorite mom to everyone. As an adult, I looked forward to her posts and comments on Facebook every day with my coffee. Shirley lived a beautiful life and all of us have gained warmness in our lives because of her. I will pray for the comfort of all of you forever, and for peace for your mom & dad forever.
Love, Paula Miller (Earp) & family

We were so very sad to learn this news.. will always remember growing up with my brothers playing little league baseball with Freddie Gingell as the coach and my dad, Ed Triest, as an assistant coach.
Her love for her family, children, grandchildren , and her little dog Buffy was very evident.
We are saying prayers for all of you to get you through this difficult time. So very sorry

My sincere condolences to all of Shirleys family. I believe that she didn’t know the word stranger. She had the biggest most beautiful smile , that’s how I’ll always see her!!♥️
We have such good memories of Shirley and Fred Gingell. When Tom and I were married they had us over quite often to play cards. We always enjoyed being with them and their children Tammy and Freddie. Shirley was a loving and giving person and our hearts have been so heavy for the past few months. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tammy, Thom, Elba and Freddie and their children and grandchildren. She loved all of them so much. She will be greatly missed. 💗
