Shelly was a big part of my life from working in the lab to celebrating births of children,  and  enjoying holidays together.  You could always count on her to be there for you.  She brought a big smile and a lot of life she was always a joy to be around.  We will miss her presence and spirit.
WWhat a lady. I was blessed to work with Shelley in the lab at Providence Medical Center for 10 yrs. She was a very compassionate lady, always full of life! I will also admit she could be a "sassy" gal. Love you Shell!.

We all gathered on the phone as she faced the DRs. We attempted to make it fun.

Can't recall what we were looking at - maybe dreaming of better days ahead. Right after this trip she discovered the melanoma had spread. Very thankful for a comfortable PNW springtime happy hour with her.

In her last act of giving on 12/30/2021, we helped her drop off 178 pairs of socks at the Brother Francis Shelter. She asked her community via Facebook to send her socks and you all showed up! Thank you for helping her achieve this beautiful moment especially for those in need of new socks - we all know how much she LOVED SOCKS!
I ran into Shelley a couple of years ago at South. She was sitting at a sunny table and reading. She looked so pleasant. As we caught up, I was in awe of her varied interests (refugee supports, language learning, a new beau, her children) and lighthearted candidness. She is a pure gem. Sending all my love to Alissa, Thom, and Patrick. ❤️

Shelley was a beautiful spirit. She radiated kindness and had such a beautiful smile to share. She was genuinely interested in knowing you and always looking to find common ground and connection. She was just a lovely lovely person and I pray for the peace and comfort of her family and friends. 💛

Shelley was an integral member of the PAMC laboratory family.  I have fond memories of her beautiful face in the lab!  She will be greatly missed by all.
Please accept my blessings of love and gratitude for your family.  Shelley and I have known each other for years and got in a few goods walks after her diagnosis.  She radiated goodness and hope.  I loved her devotion to humanity, family, friends, the bees, trees and seas.  She did love her birds.  Yesterday, I walked and a huge flock followed me for sometime.  I like to think Shelley was with me.  I will miss her smile.  I will miss her.

Spring always took us to the barn in search of the kittens hiding in the loose hay. We would stay very quiet waiting listening for the little meows that would reveal their location.

I was so blessed to have you as my treasured friend.  We supported each other during challenging times, and rejoiced in happy times.  To me, you always had an inner beauty  that just radiated to all.  Prayers for your lovely children as they go through this time of loss, that God will wrap them up in love and all of the memories that will bring them comfort and peace.  Until we meet again, dear one.
