How did you first meet Serafin? What were your first impressions? Did those change over time?

I first met Serafin at a mutual friend's gathering. I remember thinking he had a warm and friendly demeanor, which made it easy to talk to him right away. He seemed genuinely interested in what others had to say, and that stood out to me.

Over time, my impressions evolved as I got to know him better. While I initially saw him as just a sociable guy, I soon discovered his depth of thought and insight. He had a unique perspective on various topics that I found really refreshing. So, while my first impression was positive, it deepened significantly as I learned more about his values and experiences.

The silence in the house is deafening to me. Missing his laughter and his terrible jokes. Smh.. The ache in my chest is a constant companion and a heavy reminder of the void he left behind. So many little things that trigger waves of grief. I find myself wanting to pick up the phone to tell him something funny, or to ask for his advice, only to be slammed back into the reality that he's not there anymore. My world feels a less bright without him in it, and I miss him more than words can say. Rest Easy Surf.. your nephews..Bruno and Joel miss you a lot..same as your grand nieces and nephews..it was heartbreaking to see the kids crying for you.. it still feels like a bad dream..

Love him and will always miss his exceptional courage, bravery, and strength often for the sake of others ..

Missing my hero... but I find comfort in speaking to him daily in prayer..
