Neil! A man with a beautiful soul.  Always had a kind word and advice if needed. He truly listened to you.

I'll forever miss him offering his hand up the steps of Ave Pub during Mardi Gras or anytime. All the insanity and he would say, I have my eyes on you and your daughter over there.

I worked with him for a few months. I cherish all our talks and musing about the world. And our love of zombie movies and series.

I just can't imagine Mardi Gras without you.

You will always be in my heart.

My deepest condolences to the McLean family. Neil was the first friendly face we’d see at our favorite place, Avenue Pub. He also helped me out big time every Mardi Gras parade with our recycling station out front which could have got out of control but he some how managed to keep an eye on it when I wasn’t there (or one of the volunteers).  A stand up guy who had a tough job but did it with grace. We will miss Neil and promise to toast in his honor when we enter at Avenue Pub. Cheers and RIP Neil.
