Uncle Ryan,
I'll never forget the many trips up to Seattle, your spirit was infectious, and your hospitality was warm and inviting. You always had the newest toys and gadgets, which you always let me use to my heart's content. Those memories began my love for new technology, which I still possess to this day. A core piece of me would not exist if it wasn't for you.
Thank you for being the coolest uncle I know. You will always be to me a role model, your strength, love and charisma will continue to influence the type of person and friend I want to be to others.
Rest in Peace ❤️

I knew Ryan ever since he started working at Genie many years ago. We had many conversations about his career, its trajectory (always up!), his experiences at Genie and in other jobs, his family, and most recently, a long talk about his and Kari's fight against his illness. He was always a fighter, in everything, striving to be better and to succeed. He was also a natural leader, using his work ethic, sense of humor, and insights to coach and guide his team members. Nothing showed those qualities more than his efforts to recover and his determination to resume his job at Genie. He and I both served on the Genie Executive Team, so I got to see first hand his tremendous grit and "never surrender" attitude. It was truly inspiring. It brings me such sadness that this was a fight he didn't win, but I'm very grateful to have known and been inspired by Ryan. I will truly miss him and his smile.

Ryan’s attitude and demeanor during our family reunion this summer was simply remarkable. The guy just had a glass half full mentality about life in general. Despite the bleak situation he faced, he was all smiles. He will certainly be missed by friends and family. RIP Lusso

I was very sad when I heard the news of Ryan's passing. He was an inspiration beyond words for his courage, fight, and positive attitude during the course of his illness.
