Ryan was my first official mentor at Genie back in 2010. He was honest, a great listener and always was an advocate for me. He told me what I needed to hear even if it may not have been what I wanted to hear and I’ll always appreciate that. I remember being in B18 when we realized we would be expats together and I was relieved to have his continued mentorship during those years abroad. He worked so hard but still managed to always bring fun to the office and I am grateful to have learned from him.
Ryan, you have been a good friend and a great person to work with. You always helped me, available to support when and as needed. We had also fun, and enjoyed a lot the good time spent together. I'll miss you. My sincere condolescence to your fantastic family
I am saddened to hear that Ryan has passed. I first met Ryan in 2010 when he joined our team at Genie. From the very start, Ryan brought his innate good humor, good will and willingness to help into even the most stressful of circumstances. I always appreciated the decency and courtesy Ryan showed to everyone. It is an honor and a pleasure to have known Ryan. It is good to know that though he lost his grip on life, that struggle would not diminish the kind of man Ryan was. Semper Fi Marine!
