I was so sorry to hear about Ryan's passing. He was such a compassionate and caring person. From the very first time that I met him, he always treated me like a little sister and always tried to include me in events while in college.

Ry, everything you always did, was to the fullest.
I’ll never forget last Christmas, just before we left, you and I were talking, you grabbed my shoulders, you said. “Unc” …we both stood there, just staring deep into each other‘s eyes. We knew each other so well, there was no words that needed to be said. But the grip on my shoulders along with the deep stare into each other’s eyes said everything.
You were always, “ all in” in everything you did.
To endure what you did, left a very clear statement to all, you were one of the toughest person I’ve ever known in my life, and I’m sure many others as well.
And I will always miss the little shrug of the shoulder, which always left a smile on my face and a little laughter in my heart. It was classic “RY”.
As you know, you weren’t just a nephew to me, you were like a son to me.
As we all know, sometimes life isn’t fair. This is clearly one time.
You are so dearly missed. And left a gaping hole for so many.
❤️ ”UNC”
