I would give anything to have met him. My friend Kit Taylor, let me know. She spoke so highly of him, that I felt like I did.  I know where he is, but my heart hurts. I pray for nothing but Peace and Comfort for you all, at this time. Rissie Godsey
We are all praying for your family there’s no words we can say to make it better. We are thankful that Rowan is in Heaven with our Savior and one day your family will all be together again.

I was stunned when I heard the news of Rowan's passing. My son attends PHHS and has friends who were friends with Ro.  As a mother who’s lost a step son, this really hit me.  May God continue to guide your family through this difficult situation.  There may never be enough answers other than it was part of God’s plan.  My sincerest condolences to your family and Ro’s friends and girlfriend. 🙏❤️🙏
I am close to you in this difficult moment. I met Rowan for a few days. His smile was contagious and you could see the passion in everything he did. A hug to the whole family and the community of Ashland from Scicli
I have so many fond memories of Rowan.  He was shy when we first met but soon had that connection.  We always shared a smile, glance or hug.  He went out of his way to make ME feel special.  How unusual is that for a young teen?  He did that for so many!    Rowan helped me on Wednesdays teach the little ones music and I’m sure he giggled when I attempted to dance and sing at the same time!  I loved watching him interact with others too.  Always so accommodating and stoic!  He loved family.  He loved church. He loved God.   He LOVED well.  Even when he was in the sound booth, when I would go up to check on things, he would acknowledge me, give me that gorgeous smile and if not too busy, a hug!  What a gift that I had him in my life these last 10 years.  I know he will be there with that huge smile to greet me one day again!  I love you Rowan!❤️❤️

We are so sorry for what you all are going through.  Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you today and in the weeks ahead.

Love,

Scott, Debbie and Scottie Graves

(Angel Brittany ~ forever 17 ~ is in heaven with Rowan having the time of their lives).

I taught Rowan English his freshman year. When it came time for the ACA group photo, the kids were lined up in the gym and I went to Rowan and told him to get out of my class, I didn’t know who he was. For context, he’d worn a mask everyday until this point and this was the first time I’d seen him without one and didn’t recognize him! I felt so bad when I realized it was Rowan but he just laughed and moved on like nothing had happened. He was the sweetest, brightest kid, and he managed to turn an embarrassing moment (for me!) into something to laugh about.
Rowan was always willing to help, always had a great smile and was so very kind.  One of my favorite things was doing an escape room with him! He was so very good at it, working hard to figure it out and laughing with me when I came up with a crazy idea about a clue.  I loved the way my boys looked up to him and he was such a great friend to all.  He will be missed so very much!

Rowan and sometimes Eli would call your dad and leave “prank” voicemail messages.  A few are saved on his phone, we listened to some last night.  Funny stuff.  Ro would laugh at what he was saying and could barely get the messages completed, which makes them even funnier.   So many great memories with him, our hearts are broken.
I'm still praying for you all. My heart goes out to you all. I can't stop thinking about Eli either. I'm so glad he has such great parents of faith to help guide him through this. Rowan was the kindest, most polite young man you'd ever want to meet. I love you all. ❤️
Rowan was always kind and nice to every one I only got to meet him a couple of times but when I did I loved every second of it he will be forever missed but God knew it was his time to go so that’s why he isn’t here with us anymore.
To pastor Josh and his family and to the brothers and sisters of First Baptist Church our love and prayers from Catania
