Please accept my heart-felt condolences on the passing of Mr. Reydman. May he rest in peace.
Reydman family and everyone who had the honour of knowing Roman, I’m so sorry for all of our losses.
Roman will always have a special place in my heart. He was a sweet, funny and just amazing person. He was always so kind, encouraging and loving toward me.
I will miss you always Roman. All our love.

Alisa and family,
I have no words. I am heartbroken for all of you and for Roman. From the day I met him, I knew that the most important thing in his life was his family. He adored you and your kids and grandkids more than anything. The love, hard work, heart and dedication that he poured into Pine Point has made it a very special place. I can’t think about Pine Point without thinking of Roman. Mishi and I will be forever grateful for his generosity and for your willingness to take a chance on us when you sold us Blue Bird. This gift came to us at the hardest time in our lives and it helped us heal and create new memories for our family. For that - we are forever grateful. We are here for you always.
With love,
Aimee, Mishi, Sam, Hugo, Adele and *Stella

Just a pic of our many interesting conversations we had. In any family gatherings I was drawn to Roman to hear his bright ideas and the wisdom and experiences he generously shared. I will miss you 🖤 Shahin
Our dear Romachka- I will remember how he always asked me to smile- I would do so and he would say “beautiful” right after, he’d smile too and we would laugh.
To feel grief is to know love. To all Roman’s family and friends let’s remember him and the great times we shared with him not just now but always. And he would likely tell us all to “smile” if he could do so right now.
He will be missed. RIP.

Ella, Max, Andrew and families, we are thinking of you during this difficult time. Roman was an amazing individual who always wore a smile...a contagious one. He exuded life in a way that you wanted to live it. He taught me lots and his presence will be so dearly missed. Our thoughts are with you.
We will Roman, I've only known him for a few years ,enjoyed his company at the cottage and was always fun to joke around with him .
My condolences to all the family.
We will miss him dearly.
Roman was such a wonderful, gentle, and kind person.
My condolences to Ella, Andrew, Max, and the rest of the family. I remember ever since I was young, he would always take the time to talk to me at family functions. When I was in middle school and high school, he would ask me what I was learning in class. When I was in undergrad, he encouraged my political thoughts, and told me it was good to fight for the little guys and to keep challenging the status quo. Seeing him always brought a smile on my face. He had an aura of comfort and security.
I remember he took the time to put nice captions on family photos too. He took the time to change the automated camera naming convention to ones that were descriptive and poetic.
He will really be missed ❤️🖤
A true gentleman with a light in his eyes. He made an impact on me as a teenager and through the years. A brilliant mind with a curious heart whose legacy will live on through the impacts he made. We are very lucky to have had Mr Reydman in our lives and for that I am grateful. My deepest condolences.
Roman was a presence and a fascinating man who never stopped surprising me with his skills, talent, compassion, thoughtfulness and genuine love of life that he so generously shared with all of us. From telling me to hold my shoulders back for better posture, to sharing with me his views on politics and parenting and work ethics, it was always a joy to be around him. I really can't imagine Pine Point without him.
During the summer of 2013 Roman sent me an email with his impressions of grief. I have always kept it because of how beautifully I thought it was written, and I lovingly share it with you below in case it is of comfort for how he believes grief reflects love:
"Your grief is deep and this is a reflection of your endless love, complex emotions and special personality. It will always be a part of your days. Painful and cheerful, sunny and gloomy. Still, in spite of your current views, you are so strong and intense that you will open your hearts to welcome a fresh air in your lives and wonderful memories will help you to fully enjoy life again.
This is my belief and my wish".

Last summer it was a beautiful night and Roman was sitting in his favourite spot at the beach, by himself, watching the sunset. He was sharing with me so many stories of his life, his work, his education. I’d never had such an in-depth chat with him. My favourite story was how he designed a computer program for hair salons so that you could see your hair with different haircuts before you picked your cut.
I love Pine Point and will forever thank Roman and Alisa for their vision. I’m so very sorry Alisa and family. Sending lots of love from Jenna, Eryn, Alyssa and Tyler
Dear: Ella, Max, Andrew, Victoria, Mina, Sasha, Nina, Lucas and Alex.....so hard to accept this unthinkable loss and to make peace with Roman’s departure.... he was such a special man; such a shining example of how to live a beautiful life, so full of intellectual curiosity, warmth, depth and humor. The time our families spent together were an intrinsic part of my childhood and adult life. I will forever cherish them. Roman was a truly exceptional man, and he lived his life in the fullest, most admirable and beautiful way. Let that idea help you along in this extraordinarily difficult time. Roman will always be with us. We love you all and are always here for you.

With love and deepest condolences,

Helen & Martin

Our condolences to Alisa and entire family... This is heartbreaking. Roman was such a bright and cheerful person, always had a joke or advice for everyone... We will be missing him dearly in Pine Point...
Rest in peace, Roman, you will be always remembered...
Labor day party at the Pine Point last September...We cannot believe we would never see him again being a heart of our small community....
In response to "When was the last time you spent time with Roman?"
Dear Andrew, Max, and Ella, my sincerest condolences to you and your extended family on the loss of your beloved Roman. Losing someone this close to you is never easy, but I'm sure that in the months and years that follow you will look back fondly on the blessing of his memory and know that he was loved, and that that love was returned infinitely.

I knew Roman as a gentle soul, a kind, thoughtful and intelligent man, a devoted husband, and a loving and adoring father and grandfather. He always greeted me with a kind smile going all the way back to sleepovers at your house on Dumont when I was just a kid, and that was the same decades later. His acknowledgement of your presence was truly heartwarming.

It was clear that he had an exuberance for life, a curious intellect, and an enthusiasm for his friends and family. I am confident that he lived his life to the fullest and set an amazing example to anyone who was blessed to have known him.

Rest in paradise Roman! You will be missed but never forgotten.

Ari
