Richard Ellwood Wittig, age 84, of Port Ludlow, Washington passed away peacefully and surrounded by family after a brief pulmonary illness Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington. He was born in East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania to Emma Mary (Washburn) and Robert Benson Wittig. He graduated from Springfield High school in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, class of 1952.
