It's been 3 years since Richard passed but it's still hard to believe he is not with us. I have many memories with Richard I treasure. One of them is a work road-trip we took from Philadelphia to Boston in 2008. We passed through his childhood hometown and drove by his childhood home. We ate Sushi for lunch and he shared some of his childhood memories. Upon arriving in Boston, Richard and I met with his friends Wendy and Lou Atamian for dinner. It was my longest drive ever from Philadelphia to Boston and the most memorable one.
Richard was a great friend and will always be in my heart.
It goes without saying that Mr. Fox was an incredible person. In a room full of people and distractions, he had a way of engaging in conversation that made anyone he interacted with feel that he really cared about what they were saying. He was genuine, caring, hysterical, and real in the best way. As a kid, his daughter Rachel land I developed a great friendship while working at the ChopHouse in South Jersey. He used to bring in his family and beam with pride while I bragged about how 18 year old Rachel would hold her in own in kitchen full of 30+ year old veterans. I've always remembered his charm and whit and now he left an incredible mark on so many people. Just hoping the wonderful memories he left behind can be a sort of solace to those he was closest to. I can't imagine how everyone must feel as I am deeply saddened having only spent some limited time with him. All my love to all of you.
I was sorry to hear about Richard. He was very good person. Although not related, we used to joke that we had to have a common ancestry since our families are both Jewish Fox's (Fuchs) who immigrated from Kiev, Ukraine. My condolences to Richard's family. Fred
Words can't express how saddened I am to hear of Ricard’s passing. He was a great friend and mentor during my Chemical Bank days, always motivating me to try new things and going beyond my fears. Still amazed how he got me to eat sushi and sub for one of his New York Univ. credit classes - in true Richard Fox style. May the many great memories he left behind help sustain friends and family at this difficult time.
I was lucky to be one of a close group of friends that started in high school. Richard or “Rit” as we called him, was always a fearless debater, an avid music lover, a clever jokester, a good basketball player, and always a loyal buddy to all of us who were so fortunate to be part of this awesome bunch of guys. Rit was full of surprises, and had an uproarious laugh that made us laugh. This group of friends will stay close always, but one of us is gone. Still, “Rit” will always be one of us, and we will miss him greatly. Signed, Wayne “Jake” Riley.
I knew Richard through our mutual involvement with the Philadelphia Israel Chamber of Commerce. Richard was a mensch with a smile. He will be missed. Bill Landsburg
My sincere condolences to the family. I only knew Susan by friendship with Richard and Susan’s neighbor Angie but had met Richard on one occasion. I hope that comfort can come in memories shared with one another and with all the love you have for one another. God Bless.
Richard invested in my company Ikimbo in 1999 or 2000 or thereabouts and we kept in touch long after the company closed. He was a wonderful friend and mentor, and a great partner to me as an entrepreneur. I was very sad to hear of his passing. Please accept our deepest condolences.
Richard was my classmate in gloversville and I got to visit with him at our last reunion. I met his lovely wife and shared laughs. I was so sad to read of his passing. I will remember his infectious smile. My sincere condolences to your family.
I remember growing up with Richard in Gloversville, when I was young. He was my mentor and friend. Condolences to the entire family, he will be missed!
