Background
Richard Fox passed peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on March 19, 2019. In lieu of flowers, Richard requested donations to be made to the Jabotinsky Institute in Israel. The Institute is unable to process donations directly at this time, so we will be making a direct deposit on his behalf once contributions are made.
Richard was a passionate Zionist and completed a screenplay titled Out of Harm's Way in 2018 about Ze'ev Jabotinsky, who formed an all-Jewish military force that came together to fight for the creation of Israel.
Though his name is hardly recognized today, Jabotinsky was a gifted orator and battle-soldier, deft negotiator, and a leading Russian novelist of his generation. He was also one of the leading Zionists from the turn of the 20 Century. Part prophet, part visionary, one of Zionism’s great political leaders, the recreation of Israel could have never occurred without him. He died of natural causes in 1940 at the age of 59, well before his political program helped result in the creation of a Jewish State.
