To say this is a shock would be an understatement. Can’t believe I saw you a couple weeks ago kicking back and tossing jokes. Rest in peace my man, I’m sure wherever you are now is even better with the joy you bring

Raul will forever live in my memory as one of the best fathers, friend, neighbor, and kindest soul San Gabriel has ever been blessed with. Natalia and her dad were a big part of my childhood growing up. The love and support he has for his kids is so clear and I was lucky to have met someone as genuine as him. Thank you for all of the free CSF baseball games, picking us up from school, kayaking bdays, and for being the perfect example of living life to the fullest. My deepest love to the entire castaneda family.

I am sadden and shocked!  My deepest condolences to his children and family.  Raul loved his children very much.   He was so proud of Christian and Natalia.  May God always keep him in His loving arms.  My ❤️ to Raul's children.

Raul was a shining light in our community, with an eternal and contagious smile, and a serving and loving heart. It was an honor to serve and support our community schools and sports along with him, and to count him as a dear friend. He had a tremendous impact and will be dearly missed. Our most sincere condolences to Christian, Natalia and the entire Castaneda family. Our prayers and support are with you.
