Our heartfelt thoughts are with your whole family today.  Randy was a blessing to us and others.  So glad that he’s now free of the ailing body that held him captive and his joy can be complete in his new home where pain and suffering are gone.  Praise God!

From Gwen Schnell:

He was such a wonderful person! So glad for all the fun things that brought us together as cousins and family in Christ. He was a teaser for sure. Loved Randy’s laugh and smile. He loved God and I asked him one time who his favorite Bible person was besides Jesus and he said Paul. It was great to talk Bible with him. I was in the same youth group with Randy and his brothers and sister. I loved to hear him sing bass. We had so many fun outings in the youth group together. When my sister Cherie and I would visit Aunt Norma and Uncle Vance, it was fun when Randy, Wayne, and Carol would sing folk songs together as Randy and Wayne played their guitars. Just loved that! They were such a loving family.

Also, I remember sitting in their kitchen and Randy making us chocolate gravy for the first time we ever had it. He made us scrambled eggs and taught us to put ketchup on them. Yummy! These were times before he left for college at Harding.

Randy was a wonderful cousin. I loved our family reunions at the park in Flushing Michigan. Such a huge family!!

Randy’s mom, my great aunt, came from a family of about 14 kids so you can imagine the size of our gatherings! My Grandma, Stella and Randy’s mom, my great aunt Norma, were sisters. My Grandma had 9 children (2 of which died as young children). So we both came from big families. So fun. Great memories. Life is so short. Take advantage of the time together. Randy was loved and will certainly be missed. Love you all! Hugs!

Some of you may know, some of you may not. But there were 3 years of my life that I lived at the Children's Home in Paragould. While there I lived under 3 different sets of houseparents. Randy and Peggy Toye, Richard and Andrea Johnson, Paul and Kathy Swymn. Randy and Peggy were my 1st set. I lived with them for a year and a half before they left to go serve at another children's home. They were "Mom and Dad" to me and all the girls who lived in our cottage. The last time I saw them was the Summer of 94. They lived in Bowling Green, KY and they invited myself and another "sister" of mine to come stay with them for about a week before summer ended. They had 2 children Joe and Lisa. They were great house parents. I'll always cherish those years and their whole family. I've said all that to say this, Joe just posted on Facebook that his Dad, Randy, passed away Friday night after a long illness. I'm heartbroken to hear this and would ask that you remember their whole family in your prayers.🙏❤️😔
