I had a chance to get to know Otis as a grad school classmate, work colleague, and friend. He struck you as someone who was truly going places. He could make friends anywhere. I have yet to meet someone who could say a single negative thing about him. I would purposely ask friends I met who possibly worked with him if they knew him and without fail they would confirm they both knew him and loved him. That's a truly rare thing in our organization. 

My heart goes out to his family at this difficult time. You gave us a beautiful soul who many feel blessed to have known during his years on this earth. 

I've been acquainted with this young man for over 4 years, a dear friend to my daughter - kindhearted, jovial, loved to travel, athletic, respectful, thoughtful, responsible, good natured, reliable, trustworthy and humble - I was glad they were friends.

Otis, we are so devastated to see you leave so quickly and so unexpectedly, you were not thinking to leave either, but it was your time. Im sure your ancestors will welcome you with open arms and tell you "we are so proud of what you did with 33 years son", and help you to transition, and that the pain is gone now.

It was a pleasure to have been around you in life, and now we are forever connected in spirit. Safari njema Otis.

Ms Cathy and Mr Big O, and all the friends and family - me and my family send our deepest condolences to you all. Let the memories made with him, and the life he lived comfort you. You will feel the loss, it is a big one, so remember his love for life and beautiful smile and let it get you past the rough days. He is in a better place, and we pray that his soul will rest in peace.

The only overseas Brother God give to me, a Brother from another Mother this is how we use to call each other since 2016 when you embarked for internship in Mozambique.

First off, my deepest condolences for the loss of your loved one. However, while in pain for the loss, we should rejoice for having had him in our lives for he was a person of character, confidence and above one you could count on. I will forever remember him in our classes in Maputo, Mozambique where he always brought such qualities.
