So very sorry. What a dear, lovely man. We will miss him for sure. We send out condolences to all of you.
Natalie snd Stan Elman
God has called... he has reached out his hand and requested your presence. With that constant smile and twinkle in your eyes, The Lion of 47th St will make one last journey. A journey to heaven. A place that Norman has earned through his kindness, generosity, and goodwill to ALL of mankind. A true mensch should be said when saying his name. God has blessed us with your character and sense of dignity. Rest easy my good friend...You have earned it! Bob Leahy

So sorry to hear! I am just a customer ...35 years now. Norman was an amazing person. So kind, genuine and honest. I remember bringing a friend in to shop Norman was there , he helped her! We felt he was a Rock Star!...smiled all day long ...not about our purchases but the man we spent some time with that day❤️ You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest condolences to Norman's family.

It was an honor to know Norman - as fine an example of a man you will find. Through his kindness, he inspired the best in everyone who met him.

May he rest in peace.

From great parents, came great sons! Important moments are connected to Norman, like Linda's engagement ring.

He didn't work on 47th Street, he was 47th Street!

To the entire Landsberg family our deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved dad and grandfather. My mom first took me to his store in 1948 when I was 3 years old and as of today I still consider him my personal jeweler but more then that a friend. He will be missed.

I am so sorry to read of Norman’s passing. He always remembered me even though I rarely saw him often in the past 26 years since moving to NC. But when in NYC, he always greeted me and made me feel like family. He was a wonderful man.
What a wonderful man, with a warm personality. I always looked forward to seeing him and chatting with him when I stopped in to purchase some jewelry.
May he RIP, a beautiful soul .
To the Entire Landsberg Family. I am so so sorry for your loss. I feel so blessed to have grown up across the street from your amazing parents. Even as a young child it was apparent to me the love that they shared for each other and their boys. I loved watching them together and the way both of their smiles could light up a room. I am grateful that as an adult I could walk into the store and hear stories from your dad about our Long Beach days, and always get a warm hug from him. May his memory be a blessing! Nora Kremer-Lynn

Dear Jeff & Family,
I loved listening to Norman and my mom kibbutz in Yiddish over the many years and his laugh was everything. Our entire family will miss him so much and my mom is devastated not to be able to cook another meal for him.
We will keep you in our thoughts.
Jen Maxwell, Roz Weinman & our families

I am so sorry to hear of Norman's passing. He was a very kind person, always smiling and was born without an ego. I once gave him a brochure of OneWorldTrade Center and told him that I was the leasing agent assigned to the building. Every time after that when I would come in to order or pick something up, he had that brochure out on the counter or noticeably out somewhere. His son told me that when someone questioned him about the brochure, he would be very proud to say that the real estate broker on the building is a customer.
My sincerest sympathies to the entire Landsberg family. Jodi and Greg Smith
The Fried family (formerly of Long Beach) extends its deepest condolences to the Landsberg family. May his memory be for a blessing.
Sad to learn of Norman's passing. The smiling photo you chose of him is spot on. The love you had, for and from him, was obvious in your family photos and numerous posts over the years. I am wearing earrings designed by Landsberg Jewelers today. RIP Norman. You will not be forgotten.

I first meet Norman 42 years ago when my now husband and I went to 47th st to buy my engagement ring!! I left with it that day, we were strangers to him, and my husband went back to pay the following day! A true mensch! He became our go to for many many years as well as all my friends & family!!
May his life be a blessing!
