TRIBUTE TO A GREAT One - BROTHER MACMAYO.

Our path first crossed in 1981 after our older Brother, Professor Yomi Okanlawon met with you on your earlier visit to Nigeria and from then planned through you to be at the local Assembly in Forest hills New york August  that year which you obliged.

During our first vist with my twin Sister Olu , you were a quintessential, gentle host who introduced us to Pastor Joseph Coleman who later arranged for us to stay with the Tom Wings .

While in the US for our vacation I remember you taking us to the stature of Liberty ( the lady with the Lamp), some Art Gallery and many other sites.  And ever since you had been very dear to our hearts when ever we make other trips to the US especially for the conventions over the years.

And when many of us believers in Lagos got married having our families and had to travel ahead for the Penn- Harris meetings ,our children most times join us later on account of  school been in session, so your base became the first port of call for them before now sending them to us where ever we may be at those times.

Yours was a very quiet, gentle, Christian disposition with love emanating from you to God's children across the globe.

We are glad we visited your home a couple of times in the last 10years the last been in 2019 in Appreciation of your friendship and love shown over the years.

You stayed firmfooted on God's Promised word and we know there awaits Resurrection to all who served God's purpose.

You are now back in the land where you will never grow old with our lovedones ( your Mum, Bro & Sis Coleman, Bro Ayo Olofin and more) who had gone before.

Rest in the bosom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ till we meet to part no more Amen.

Our Condolences and Prayers to the entire MacMayo's Family

BROTHER MIKE McMAYO: TRIBUTE TO A RARE GEM AND GALLANT CHRISTIAN

Thanking God for a beautiful life well spent in service to God, His people and humanity. It was a wonderful blessing, great honour and priviledge to have known you  on this side of eternity. Brother Mike, you were a true Christian who loved unconditionally. You have a very special place in our hearts, you joyfully always gave so much of yourself to us all and we say thank you for giving to the Lord.  We will miss you so much and would have loved to have been with you one last time. May God comfort  all of us whose lives were touched by your amazing selfless and loving generosity. Praying for God’s special comfort that only He can give for our dear sisters, your loving sister Hosanna, your niece Adanna and your entire family.

Rest in perfect peace as you remain forever in our hearts. Until we meet again in eternity.

A soldier of the cross has gone home.

I will always remember how you always made us feel at home, comfortable and special every time we visited your home.

We would all find a way to get settled, one way or the other, with something to munch and drink.

Even the times when you were in Nigeria, it was always great having you around. You had a warm spirit around you.

The parting on this side of heaven is only temporary. We thank God for the life you lived, a strong soldier of the cross. God has called you home to join the saints singing " Glory Alleluia, His truth is marching on".

As you are there, greet the saints over yonder. We will miss you on this side... but we know it won't be long that we'll be going home.

Go rest high on that mountain, your work on earth is done!

My deepest sympathy to the family from Michael and Lynette

A jewel has gone home.

Going down memory lane, a visit to Bro Macmayo's was always a constant in our yearly vacation plans.

It was either he would be picking up some of us kids from the airport to his house to eat, watch movies and relax while we wait for our parents to come pick us up, or we would just stop over while in the area, I can tell you the fellowship was always so warm and sweet, also with Sis Hosanna and Adanna. Your friendship, support and love for your brothers and sisters in-Christ can never be forgotten, we'll miss you a lot.

Though we have not seen him in a couple of years, we know we will surely see him soon at the gathering of the saints.

Go rest high and well jewel of God in the bosom of your Lord till we all meet to part no more.

Deepest condolences to the entire family.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Brother Michael MC Mayo. He lived an exemplary life and I confident that he is rejoicing in heaven before his God and Master. He led me to Jesus Christ at a very young age of 14 and my Christian foundation was established by the Godly Leadership and teachings of Truth. He didn't just talked Christ he lived Christ. May his soul be happy and blessed in eternity 🙏🙏🙏

My sincere condolences to the Mc Mayo family and all those that are affected by my precious Br departure . I have known Br Mc Mayo for more than forty five years and he was always someone that I could trust talking to. Br Mc as I called him was a true gentleman a Real Christian and he didn’t fall short of displaying Christian qualities. Always giving of himself and his earthly possessions with great humility. Through his illness he kept his testimony, oh what a True Soldier of Christ. Rest In Peace my brother, it’s not long until we meet again . Thank you for everything. You will be sadly missed.

Brother Mark (MacMayo)

USA

Dear Bro. Mark,

Thank you for your support for all these years. It was a God given privilege that I should meet you at an early age and I thank you for the impact you have made in my family and in my life. truly you have done your best. You have been our role model ever since we met all those years ago in Caigual. You have lived a full Christian life and have done all that you can do. We thank you for the many sacrifices you have made especially for my family, the Ali family. Thank you for your unconditional love for us. I thank you for filling in the gap of a true father for me. Your never-failing prayer for us have always been with us. Whenever you came to Trinidad, you had a special place in your heart for us where you always insisted on seeing us, spending time, and having fellowship with my family and I.

I remember when at the age of twelve you brought that icing set and baking book for me. I was so happy. As a child I remember how you would make sure I got all my medication when I was in Belmont. I remembered one Christmas we travelled abroad, and you took care of us. You took us shopping, and you took us to eat out. I have so many happy memories of you over the past fifty years. I remember the many times you spent with my husband and I counseling us as we grew our children. In our trials you stood with us. I remember when you heard that our estate had burnt down you would send some US dollars in a spoken word book for us. I remember the many times you visited Trinidad, and you would visit and share a meal with us. Those precious times are your legacy you left us along with the type of man you were.

Brother, you have fought the good fight as a soldier in Christ and have done your best and your reward is now eternal life with our savior. I thank God for you. I give God thanks and praise for all the things, small and great alike that you have done and been to my family. You will always be remembered by the Ali family for the relationships you had with us, and the love you shared with us. Brother your love was unconditional, it was so real that it became an example for us to follow. May you always be enveloped with the peace of God.

Truly always,

Marilyn Ali
