I’m so sorry for your loss. Meg was truly a remarkable person and has had an immeasurable positive impact on the lives of so many.
While I was never a big fan of school, I always looked forward to time in the library. It was a friendly space where I could explore anything, and the enthusiasm for learning and the outdoors was contagious.
I was extremely lucky to know Meg outside of school as well. To this day I remember and cherish memories of hiking at Ramapo Reserve with Meg and Caper. I’m still an avid hiker, finding lots of peace and meaning, thanks to that early positive experience. I remember birding at the Celery Farm, watching her patiently training her beloved German Shepards with kindness and playfulness. Feeding carrots to the horses that used to live around the corner from her Wyckoff home. So many happy memories and important experiences.
Thank you for everything, Meg.

Mom & Dad were always up for anything! Rollerblading, skiing, sledding, kids plays & performances... anything and everything! It all sounded good to them!

What can you say about a woman who introduced all three of your children to the delightful Max and Ruby series, to the whimsical “Let’s Go Swimming with Mr. Sillypants”, and to the irreverently witty “You Are Pigs”, instilling in them an everlasting love of literature? What can you say about a woman who yearly transformed her impeccably decorated home into a frightening Halloween horror scape featuring cauldrons of dry ice and costumed family members (ghastly Aunt Tilly was a fan favorite), in order to enchant area youngsters? What can you say about a woman who met you on the windy backstreets of Wyckoff at 5:30 am (braving each and every element), and lovingly supported you through the tragic deaths of both of your parents?
You can say that you love her and miss her terribly. You can add that you are eternally grateful to have known her.
We are so very sorry for your loss. All our love,

This is the story of the 1st time I met Meg - and most of the Pritchard family. I had met John in 2004 and he brought me to the 2005 Derby Day Party. Such fun! And so much love and warm family history in those gatherings! Meg and Rich had such love for one another, for Beth, Steve, Alex and Maggie…and the cousins, cousin spouses, cousins’ children. I immediately felt welcomed and loved! A fun memory of Meg was how she framed photos of the family and hung them at the height that their dog could enjoy looking at family as he ate his food. The last time I remember having a conversation with her was at Mom’s (Marion Pritchard) funeral repast. Even though she was not 100% herself, she had those clear, beautiful, blue eyes and was happy to see me and to meet my children. I miss her and your dad and their love of family and entertaining. Love, hugs and prayers for peace. ~Rhonda Pritchard

Hello Beth and Steven, this is Barry King. The photos you chose for your Mom's memorial embody the things that I will remember most of her personality. First is her ever present, warm smile and second the love of our beautiful outdoors with your dad. I never made it up to the Vermont house but I knew I had an open invitation. May she rest in peace now and may you and all her family have happy memories of the great life of a very special woman. Barry King and family

Going to the Vermont Country Store was always the best! We would find the strangest and most fun things there. Grandma Meg was so much fun to shop with, whether it was for clothes or talking pickles!

Beth, we are so sorry to hear about your mom Meg. She had a beautiful loving heart and soul. She lit up the room as soon as she walked in. She is the best of the best. She always had such a special place in her heart for everyone. We will be forever grateful for her, your dad and you for being in our lives and sharing your love with all of us.
