My bebo Medina has gone up to be with her mother Bada Dervisevic, our dearest brother Dan Ostie, and our little dog Pickle. Memorial Services for all who knew and loved her will be held Saturday, January 31st at Flower Funeral Home. Address in the event details. Please note there are two service times, 11am-2pm AND 5pm-8pm.

We appreciate all the love we are receiving. Flowers are welcomed, however, donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Care (www.mskcc.org) in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated.

On Sunday, February 1st, there will be an Islamic service at the Islamic Unity & Cultural Center located at 114-11 91 St, Richmond Hill, NY 11418 beginning at 6PM. (Previously 4PM now 6PM)

On Monday, February 2nd, a prayer service will begin at 9AM followed by a burial service located at Washington Memorial Park located at 855 Canal Road Mt. Sinai, NY 11766. You may choose to meet the family at the cemetery at 10AM. Please be advised that the services start immediately once the funeral procession arrives. Also note that it is customary that only men participate in the burial service.
