Mau Mau, I’m still finding it difficult to accept that we won’t see you again, your ever ready smiles and your zest for life. But we know that heaven rejoiced as you returned home to your maker.

Enjoy your reward at the bosom of the all mighty God. You deserve it dear but no doubt your beloved babies, husband, family and friends will miss you.
Rest In Peace. Amen πŸ™πŸ½ 🌹🌹🌹

The Mau like I used to call you. I can’t question God for He knows why He called you at this prime age. I know you are resting with Him and I know she will guide your family .

Continue to rest in peace my dear sister. I miss you dearly.

My sister Oge rest on until we meet to part no more.Big loss indeed.
The news that Maureen was ill came as a rude shock as I lost my mother to cancer just a year before then and know how difficult the treatment can be. I visited her last summer and she looked very well and it gave me hope! I was also pleasantly surprised that she had prepared white soup and rice for me. That gesture made it easy for me and we both felt at ease and prayed that God should heal her.
Hmmmm, I didn’t know that would be the last time I’ll see her. Maureen and I were Colleagues in Century Merchant bank were we started banking and we both got married the same year. Maureen was a beautiful person in and out she always had nice things to say about everyone. May our kind God receive her beautiful soul, amen.
She will be sorely missed and our kind God will look after her lovely children they will be very successful as I commit them
Permanently unto Gods protective arms.
God will give the entire family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. Amen πŸ™
Mau Mau,
Its at moments like this that we wish we could put back the hands of time. I wish we had spent more time laughing, talking, just being sisters and friends...

Rest in perfect peace. You ARE a beauty inside and out. May the Lord grant your family (husband, children, siblings) and all your loved ones the strength to carry on.

Ngozi Obikili - The Mau, my heart bleeds, what a devastating news!!! You were the very best of us, a woman with a unique personality, a lovely soul, beautiful in and out, compassionate, consistent with a captivating mien. Your character and conduct distinguished you, your soothing words calmed nerves. Mau, you were quite impressive ....a "big sis" to even your age mates. We jelled at Lugard Avenue, we hugged as parents of Louisville and laughed heartily in the company of another "sister," Rita. You were truly an Angel, paying me surprise visits at Apapa GRA before you travelled. I miss you, my dearest Mau, you were truly genuine and gifted. Enjoy your peace now without pain. May your soul rest in perfect peace. Please accept my condolences Oddie with your lovely children. May God comfort you and all of us. Forever in our hearts...... Mau, sleep on.
Mau mau what can I say? Your laughter, your smile, will always be a constant reminder of what it is to be at peace with oneself. I will miss you Mau mau. In spite of it all, you smiled and still asked if I wanted to eat something, rest in peace, Angel, rest in peace and pray for us.
I remember Maureen for her genuine smile and humility. She was always warm and friendly. May her sweet soul RIP.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints. Psa. 116:15.

It is so sad to believe that Mau Mau as she was fondly called is no more!!!
The news of her death broke my heart with so much pain for a lady I have come to love and cherish as a sister.

We are however consoled that she is resting in the bossom of our Lord Jesus because she loved humanity and served God sincerely.

Mau Mau was so full of life and made friends easily across board.
She was actually my elder sister's classmate and friend at Queens School Enugu (Mary Ezewuzie, now Ijele Anozie). Ijele and Mau Mau are in the pictures above to ur left and lower right. (Houston August, 2019).

Through their friendship at Queens School, Mau Mau would become good friends with me and my siblings and happily attended our family functions with so much joy in her heart ❀.πŸ₯°πŸ˜
She is in the picture above to ur upper right with my eldest sister Bibi during my father in law's funeral in Oko.

Coincidentally, Mau Mau was also my husband's school mate and friend at UNN and supported my marriage as an elder sister would.
She was very considerate, kind, loving, fun to be with and selfless ❀

Maureen will surly be missed!!!.
I pray that God in His infinite mercy would console her family and give them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Amen πŸ™

We love you Mau Mau, but God loves you more!!

Rest in perfect peace my dear sister and friend.πŸ™πŸΌ
