On October 7, 2025, Maureen Bird passed away surrounded by loving family at the age of 84. She leaves behind beloved husband Gerry, children Jean-Paul and Diane, Daniel and Nikki, Stephen, and Laura and Steve, as well as nine cherished grandchildren. Maureen was also one of four Norwood sisters—the matriarchs of a close-knit and loving extended family.
