I'm grateful to have known Marcy, one of the kindest souls I've ever met and a true light in the Sarasota community. I first got to know her when she was a student at Sarasota School of Massage Therapy --  I remember her pushing around her double stroller with the twins in it! My son was a little younger than them, and Marcy and I connected as mothers of young children. Over the years, we always seemed to run into each other at different places around town, and any time I happened to walk by when she was doing chair massage at the farmer's market, she always waved and flashed her lovely smile. We met up for lunch every couple of years or so and always had wonderful conversations (and laughs!)  I'm grateful that I got to be with her a few times over the past year, and the last texts we exchanged were Happy Mother's Day wishes to each other...

I send my deepest condolences to her family and everyone who loved her. May  memories of her sweet spirit and loving nature always be cherished.

My heartfelt condolences Danielle, to you and your family.
My condolences to Marcy's family. I first met Marcy about four years ago when we met in Arlington Park while walking our dog Sunny. Sammy (Marcy’s dog) and Sunny got on and so did Marcy and myself . Every time we met over the many  occasions that we went to the park, Marcy would be friendly and smart, and talk about life in the way I also saw it. We also shared ideas for keeping our dogs healthy and happy. She was a lovely person. I still feel her sweet spirit when I walk in Arlington Park.

Marcy and I were Massage Therapists together in Sarasota. We got to be with each other at many events, and I would see her often when she was giving Chair Massages with Lou at the Farmer's Market. We ran into each other a couple of years ago at a friend's memorial and she shared her health story with me. What an amazingly strong woman! I had the privilege of talking to her a few times after that regarding the benefits of hospice care for her and her family. She was definitely a Radiant Light in our community, and I will miss her! ....

Dear Michael and Danielle, I'm very sorry to know about your Mom's passing. Grief is a very stubborn emotion and I wish you the best of luck as you move ahead,  experiencing all that awaits you in life, while never forgetting Marcy's many beautiful qualities.  I also send my condolences to your father.  Best of luck to all of you. - Mitch Silverstein
Marcy was such a wonderful and beautiful woman! My heart is truly sad!!
Marcy had a remarkable memory for names, events, places and people. She would remind us of things about ourselves we had forgotten! Knew my dogs age better than I did and would happily chat with others at Arlington park, making everyone feel part of her special family!
In response to "What made Marcy different from most people you know?"
My condolences to your family. Marcy was a caring and influential person in my life. I did not know her long but she left a Lasting impression on me and I am sorry to hear of her passing. RIP Marcy!!

This is such sad news. The world lost a really sweet soul. It's been too many years since I've seen Marcy but I always loved talking with her at the market and seeing her beautiful smile. My condolences to her children and the rest of her family.
