Obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce that Mrs. Mary Leela Edward, beloved and devoted wife of Christy Edward, passed away peacefully aged 79, on Friday 23rd. July 2021.
Leela was the daughter of the late Mr. S.J. Vedanayagam and late Mrs. Susan Vedanayagam, daughter-in-law of the late Mr. Peter Benedict Swampillai and late Mrs. Mary Magdalane Swampillai, stepmother of Johann and Peter, Mother-in-law of Isabelle and Philippa, grandmother of Juliette, Chloe and Lola, and sister …
