I'm surprised no one has mentioned the "white shoe" phase .  For many years all he would wear is white shoes and even had a license plate that I think read WShoes.  When they were wearing out he would order 2 more pairs.  He was one of a kind for sure.

Uncle Larry was the most positive, fun person I have known, he loved everyone he met and they loved him. We will miss him greatly. 💕

Uncle Larry and Aunt Marie riding on a homemade electric bike, so many great memories of their visit in 2014 💕.

What a bittersweet day when Larry passed.  He’s is heaven now and I’m sure my dad was excited to see him! He was truly a bright spot in this somewhat dreary world. He was the most upbeat and positive person I’ve ever known. You’ll be missed cousin.

God Bless you Marie. Love you. ❤️

Larry loved life more than anyone I ever met. He would light up every room he entered.  He could talk to anyone, and usually did.

He was devoted to Marie beyond words.

When he would call he identified himself as “your favorite brother-in-law” which was true since he was my only BIL.

The world is a little dimmer now that he is gone but Heaven is happier.

I love you Grandpa!! You were always the happiest guy in the room!! I’m sure it’ll be the same in Heaven.
Aunt Marie, Mom and Aunt Phyllis.  I am so very sorry for the loss of the biggest personality I ever met!  Uncle Larry was the most loving, fun, smart amazing man!!!  He’s with Grandma, Grandpa and Boogie again!!!!

My brother, Larry Chidester, was the most fun-loving and outgoing person I’ve ever known.  As children, Larry Phyllis and I spent many days at the beach  while Mom worked

For many years  we  have lived in different states - keeping in touch with phone calls and occasional visits.  We would answer a call and hear “This is your brother - Larry” and we would talk with he and Marie for awhile

I loved my brother and I love my sister, Phyllis and I love you, Marie!

I will miss you Larry - my brother 💙

    Your sister, Caroline

My sincere condolences Marie. Larry was bigger than life with his booming voice and contagious laugh. He was  such a sweet caring man. Larry will be missed by so many. I am happy i got to know him. I will forever be “the sister stealer”!

I’m so happy I knew you as my Uncle Larry and had so many fun times with you when we got to see each other at family gatherings. You always put a smile on my face and made us all laugh so hard.  I’ll remember you with fondness and love.  My condolences to Marie and my cousins and to Phyllis and Caroline and all the family. ❤️🌷

My brother Larry was the best brother.  He did his best to stay in contact with all of his family and friends right up to the end.  He would always end our conversations with "See ya later alligator"  and  I would reply "After awhile Crocodile" and he would laugh.  He was a man of great faith and never missed an opportunity to share it with others. It was such a shock when I got the call at 3 in the morning on Jan 10th from Marie to let me know of his passing.  So See ya later my dear brother until we meet again.

Phyllis
