I have so many  great memories of times with Dad and Marie. One of my favorites is, when they first moved to Teasdale I would go down and help him paint. We’d be working outside and periodically a vehicle would go by. Dad would say, Ang, did you see that truck that just went by? I’d look around for the truck and say no, what truck? He would say, the one that hit your face! I fell for that joke so many times!  Thanks for all the laughs, for letting me call you dad and always being so complimentary. You are missed so much.

I Loved my Dad very much, he was larger than life. I have so  very many fond memories. Especially ones when I was younger spending time with my Grandpa Jack,  dad and other family deer hunting on Boulder mountain , Also, one time when  I was in high school. My dad took me to McDonald's, we were at the drive through and he said. Do you have worms in your hamburgers? Because there was a chain that had put worms in their hamburgers.  He embarrassed me when we drove up to pick up our food. All the people were looking in the car. And he laughed, and then we both laughed. And we never  forgot that. He loved life. And he  made everyone else's life better  with his fun and loving spirit , He also did a very good Elvis impersonation. Thanks for being my dad. I will see you again one day in heaven.

My heart is broken. I didn't think the last time I saw you was going to actually be my last. I'm so grateful it happened though. There must have been unknown reasons at the time that made me want to take so many pictures, record lots of videos, share old stories and give you so many hugs. I'm able to look back now and see you with my children and I, one last time. I can now watch my videos to hear your voice anytime I'm missing you. I have so many fond memories of us, that I pray I will never forget. Going to grandma and grandpa's house to ride and feed the horses. Camping with grandma on tribal grounds and having a native american woman braid leather and feathers into my hair. Watching you blend drinks with your green and purple motorcycle blender. Having you give me as many credits on the jukebox that I wanted, just so I can press buttons and learn all the good ol' oldies songs. Popping me open an ice cold glass coke bottle from the garage. Finding me calling all sorts of people from your office Mickey phone, just because I wanted to hear someone answer my call. Going to church and then to  Leatherby's to have some amazing ice cream together. Hanging out and playing with Molly girl. Watching TV and coloring in my coloring books, that were in my special cupboard at the house. Going out back to get fresh eggs from the hen house. Seeing videos of you dancing in your white shiny shoes and impersonating Elvis. Going to Disneyland multiple times and Sea World as a family. Having you sing me Disney songs in the car, while we drove around and grandma would get upset about your driving skills. Taking me for rides on your Harley and letting me wear your cool black helmet. Having you put a ton of hot salsa on your burrito at the restaurant and getting really vocal about how spicy it was (woohoo you said). Then, even watching you with my children and making new memories with your grandsons. How can I not miss all the amazing things we had together? Just know I'm thankful and blessed that God made you my grandpa. We had so many precious and meaningful times together. Thank you for your love and support throughout my life. I wish we could have lived closer, but distance created it's challenges. However, our consistent calls and texts mean so much to me. I know you know that. Be in God's grace and I'll see you when I get there. Forever in my thoughts and heart. Love, your granddaughter. Xoxo!

The last time l was with Larry and Marie was over Thanksgiving dinner at Marc’s and Robin’s home . Larry was his normal self laughing and cutting up with everyone. We all set around afterwards and shared what we were thankful for, Larry give thanks for Marie and his family and gave praise to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for saving and old sinner like himself.  I think that is what Larry would desire is for everyone to come to know Jesus. John 3-16..Peace be with the family as you walk out the days ahead….

Road Tripped with Daddy White Shoes to Lake Tahoe with one of his riding buddies.  Rode to the Tucker Rocky Meeting and attended the San Jose Mile flat track race.

Good times with Daddy, he will be missed...

Larry was the Tucker Rocky rep for our store South Valley Motorsports.  Mr. White shoes he was coined for his white patent leather shoes, he was so proud of those. He loved Mickey mouse. He had a Mickey mouse watch, ring and a Deringer belt buckle he wore religiously. He would arrive to stock shelves and take orders while out selling every sales person we employed put together in one day. He made a bar stool blender powered by a two stroke motorcycle motor. If you were known to Larry Chidester you may have known the all time greatest salesperson the world has ever known, he could sell ice to Eskimo's or water to fish, you would buy it just because he was selling it? To have known Larry Chidester was too have known one of the greatest people on earth. Best wishes on your next great journey Larry, knowing you were loved in this world

Larry and Marie moved to Arizona weeks before my father was tragically killed in a backhoe accident. Larry immediately stepped in and became my second father and best friend. It didn’t matter if we were shoveling snow, doing maintenance work on the house, riding motorcycles or just hanging out he was always a joy to be with and could lift your spirit in a single conversation. I would always tell him that I didn’t know what I was going to do without him and he’d joke and we’d laugh as if that would never happen. He was truly one of a kind. He will always be loved and deeply missed. “ Happy Trails Larry”
