Kris was good with words. Thought he would like a poem. Remembering it like it was just yesterday. Aaron and Kristy were loading Kris into the Jeep on Soledad mountain road. Grey puffy jacket, jeans and white sneakers. His hair blowing in the wind. the click of the seatbelt. "you ready dude"
To Kristy, Aaron and Gabs, jack and Mila to all family and friends. Words cannot express the feelings we have regarding Kris' passing. We are all so very sorry for your loss............

Kristopher, my eldest grandson. I have such fond memories of the time we spent camping, traveling to Colorado to help us start the building of the cabin, and your numerous stays at the river being a true River Rat! Just like your dad you made friends quickly with all the other kids, seems that they all wanted to play with Kris. Your last trip to the river you fell asleep on the window seat bed and I recall thinking "he looks so relaxed, without a care in the world". I was truly happy for you.

A beautiful baby yes, a cute kid absolutely, a handsome young man no question about it. But more than that a loving soul and kind sensitive heart.

You have left an enduring impression on our all the lives you came in touch with and for that, we are forever grateful for you.

Tophie, I don’t think I will ever have another friend like you. You and kristy have been apart of my life since I was 13. You helped guide me and show me right from wrong. You and your mom share the same heart. Forever. Being w kristy makes me feel better bc I just feel your presence around her. We miss you dearly my friend. I think about you randomly everyday wishing this wasn’t true, wishing you’d call us and tell us how crazy we are for believing this!! You carried so much weight of everyone on your shoulders. You wanted to take care of everybody... like Rizzo said, a gift that keeps giving. A lot of people aren’t going to know what to do now that your gone, sometimes it just felt you had all the answers.
