For those looking to visit Kirk's final resting place, it is at Section 70, Site 432 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. (See Map below in "Memories & Condolences")

Kirk was laid to rest on May 1st, 2020 beside his fellow veterans at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Remarkably, Kirk's funeral coincided with a Luke Air Force Base community flyover that featured a formation of 15 aircraft including seven F-35A Lightning IIs, seven F-16 Fighting Falcons, and one KC-135 Stratotanker.
